Those r upgraded plan without the standard hypptv pack like ruby, aneka or varnam. Or Lite with jumbo lite or sports. I gather. But few has claimed that theirs include both jumbo n standard plan n paying only RM139, which I think is the best plan.

I think for those RYE2017 upgrade from 50 to 100Mbps

indeed they got it. below is the screenshot from vamfire.

But no standard pack like ruby, varnam etc

yes, but i think to a lot of people, they would rather have cheap package monthly to pay for internet than having extra services like hypptv which a lot of unifi users wanted to cancel but they could not due to the bundled.

i think it is a good deal to most as the jumbo pack that comes with premium channels like sports one will suit those sport lovers.

Mine RYE 30mbps is differ, only Ruby no STD20, but the discount is RM90. Don't know how the calculate it?

Mine previoulsy was Lite@rm99+Ruby@rm30=rm129
After upgrade Advance30@rm169+Ruby@rm30+"???"@rm30-discount@rm90=rm139 (as per add RM10 RYE2017's bill)
The "???" item currently not included in my @unifi dashboard. Anyone come across?

autopay deducted the unbilled amount of rm44.05 which appeared in my dashboard two to three days back. i had made an advanced payment of rm165 before this. but my bill has not been generated in system yet. my billing date is 16 dec 2017.

so it means my this month bill total amount is rm209.05.

my subscriptions for full month should be rm189 + 7% GST = rm202.23.

rm209.05 - rm202.23 = rm6.82. (if this amount of is the pro-rated amount due to the switch of plan before my billing date, i think TM should have correct billing for me)

Update for my case, Pay RM219 b4 GST for 50Mbps + Sport pack + 600min free Call.
go to TM Point to complain on 6/12/17, they close the case without contact me, lodge report to MCMC on 15/12/17 and now they call me and offer me 100Mbps + Mega n Ruby pack + 600min free call for RM189 monthly for 2 years. Now wait for marketing team to call me to confirm the update.

So for those who pay higher than RM189 please lodge report to TM point then complain to MCMC.
*
good for you. rm189 before GST is seriously considered a reasonable price for 100Mbps plan and all the extras (jumbo pack + ruby pack + STD20) tongue.gif

I finally can view my bill and I must say mine is totally different from you guys. laugh.gif

My monthly Internet subscription is only RM 99. laugh.gif But I have to pay for Jumbo and Ruby which is RM 90. So in total is still RM 189 without GST.

I called billing to confirm and this is also confirmed by her that my Internet is RM 99 + HyppTV RM 90. I asked if I can cancel Ruby a year later, she said it should be OK but I can only try a year later.

My breakdown:

can see my bill on dashboard, but got problem downloading the bill.

but this is my breakdown summary. wink.gif

maybe for permanent rm150 + 50 discount will all appear as this.

if can remove ruby pack is not bad already. rm30 means rm159 for 100Mbps with jumbo pack, STD20.

I am paying rm113.xx the minimum subscription I can get in order just to watch those old tvb dramas on Astro.

Even now with full package of hypptv (jumbo + ruby), but I never watch at all.

considered the price of rm189 for 100Mbps plan under unifi vs time 100Mbps rm149 which the extra rm50 paid for unifi gets hypptv jumbo + ruby packs and STD20 for free calls. Considered quite small gaps between the two now.

to 90% of users, it is not really something crucial as most users consume media instead of create media. tongue.gif

Mine RM249 or 100mbps, TM says if they revised mine to RM189 it will be valid for 24 months. At 25th month, the price will be revert back to RM329.

To me it's good since by that time many new packages with better offer is available. And I got to save RM60 monthly, total of RM1440 for 2 years.
*
if ur dashboard shows the discount is perpetual, maybe after 2 years still same price.
it is good anyway that you managed to get rm189 instead of rm249. it is a lot of money savings in long run.

ic, i thought we are on the same boat  biggrin.gif
Mine is RM 232 from the thank you program. Should I make the same move?
*
i almost changed to rm229 50Mbps -> free upgrade to 100Mbps that time. request submitted but luckily they did not process yet so i still managed to put it a stop and remained at rm179 30Mbps -> free upgrade to 50Mbps now.

therefore now i can free upgrade rm10 now to 100Mbps at rm189. tongue.gif

rule of thumb: always keep at lowest plan possible every time and wait for the good deal to upgrade later from TM.

Is it really better in terms of stability and speed ? If yes I'd like to request to change it too.

The C5 is a 2015 model while the one I have C1200 is 2016 model but I had faced the WiFi not connecting issue and sometimes internet will stop working for a moment issue.
*
confirmed better. both my parents and my own house we got this models from TM when we subscribed the unifi. no complaints at all so far.

but u won't be able to get this wifi router from TM anymore. no longer given.

even u want to buy it outside also i think it is not easy to find.

Hi bro, would like to clarify on the stable wifi meaning before i make my final decision to exchange it for c5v2 router, does it mean when you downloading the ping doesnt jump high??as to my current c1200, sometimes ping will jump extremely high like few thousands when downloading or even just watching youtube, it will recover to stable state by takes some time, sometimes i will need to keep refreshing to get stable, normal period downloading can reach 3-3.6Mbytes/s and able to watch youtube at 1080p at the same time, will c5v2 router having this issue?Appreciate your feedback
*
my archer c5 never give me any problem since I susbcribed to unifi 30Mbps in dec 2017 until, upgraded to 50Mbps in August 2017 and now i am unifi 100Mbps.

never experience high ping and I am able to get full speed all the time.

Firmware Version:
3.17.1 Build 20160317 Rel. 4317
Hardware Version:
ArcherC5 v2

besides, that's purely my personal experience. not sure if you will experience the same. tongue.gif
