QUOTE(maxera @ Sep 13 2017, 07:12 PM) Anyone having problem assessing local website this week ? Keep having disconnection, slow load and *this website* can't send any data. Don't think so. LYN forum, www.LYN, lazada, shopee, thestar, not sure if they are all hosted locally.

QUOTE(wchui22061985 @ Sep 13 2017, 02:13 PM) Hi guys, a noob here. Currently I'm on a 50mbps package with monthly fee of RM200. I normally only watch YouTube videos or watch Iflix at HD quality. From the looks of it, average speed around 6mbps. If I were to downgrade to a lower package of 10mbps (RM129 package), would that impact my user experience? As much as I enjoy the 50mbps, no choice but to cut costs.... 10mb at 720p HD is okay, watchable, have you try watching at 720p HD?

QUOTE(doremon @ Sep 12 2017, 05:10 AM) Hi Guys. Just to check. Is there such thing unifi combine webe ? Anybody tried this before ? Mobility Pack"WEBE" name will go disappeared and renamed as "UNIFI" from 16/9. So UNIFI can be FTTH, VDSL and LTE (wireless)!

For Mobility Pack - AP30 (RM262.90nett) vs 30mbps (RM179.15nett) + Celcom gold (RM84.80nett) difference RM1.05 might as well I stick with my current package Better coverage HPL wise unless they reduce the price lah might consider This post has been edited by doremon: Sep 15 2017, 05:09 AM

UNIFI deliver high speed Internet to users by - FTTH (Fibre at last mile) - VDSL (Copper at last mile) - LTE or fixed wireless to other areas So ADSL will die. HyppTV and TM Wifi are "add-on". http://www.nbnco.com.au/learn-about-the-nb...-explained.html

QUOTE(Xefron @ Sep 15 2017, 09:13 AM) ADSL will still be there for some time. but the direction to replace the ADSL one day is there. I don't think they will simply replace ADSL to VDSL. Why bother to install the new VDSL capable MSAN while the current ADSL MSAN are still able to functions without any problems. Well, that's the situation at my place right now. The place where already owned MSAN cabinet with 8Mbps availability (ZTE made) like in front of my taman, they just leave the MSAN as it is without any plan to upgrade it to VDSL. They only install the new VDSL capable MSAN (Huawei made) at the place where there's no MSAN cabinet before. When I asked TM via email and complained to MCMC, they said that they leave my ZTE Msan as it is because my area will be falls under FTTH soon in two years time. Those so called FTTH project will only commence in 2019 and currently it still in Planning phase which I think I'll get nothing in future. Well, you know how TM works is it?

https://www.mcmc.gov.my/skmmgovmy/media/Gen...onnectivity.pdfHmmm.....not sure about this, really? From the big boss himself......in english......50% reduction Where are streamyx subscribers complaints statistics to MCMC? So...that the damned formula.... -.-.......hmmmmmm Ceh...pocket money only: Poor streamyx users......checkout MCMC definition of 'unfair practise'. So..only valid 803 reports.... So...for wireless....Maxis the best for online but the worst for dropped call? Eh? Wired....Maxis the winner again? I am getting skeptical now. Any comment on MCMC report?

QUOTE(JohnLai @ Sep 15 2017, 11:15 PM) Thus....based on the MCMC statement on Najib Budget speech..... Where is my f*cking RM179 30Mbps free upgrade to 50Mbps? TM? You will see it again in PRU14. 2nd round of upgrade in 2018-19. But the Internet service at your area will be governed by Sarawak Multimedia Commission, instead of MCMC Malaysia. TM Unifi is only a service provider (ISP). You can choose another ISP.
