Hi all,
How do you guys negotiate with TM regarding current offer?
I can't seems to find any official brochure or a prove to convince them that I am paying more than many other subscribers.
Currently paying 179.00 (bill amount 187.75) for 30Mbps plan and HyppTV Ruby pack only.
I have the DECT phone, but no free call.
What if I go to TM Point and the they challenge me back by asking...
"where got cheaper offer?"
"where got Jumbo pack?"
"where got free calls?"
"who told you all these?"
Because I stay in a condo, does that mean 30Mbps is the max. I can get?
If speed upgrade is impossible for me, what else can I ask for?
Thank you all in advanced.
To nego, you can go to another TM Point or call 100 to scream politely at em.. As for max speed? I'm in the same boat, they say I can't get more than 30Mbps cuz high floor bla blah.. Been bugging them to come upgrade the infra and for now offer the cheaper price of 139 for 30Mbps pending hardware upgrade (if ever).. Looks like mostly in this thread, those who get 100Mbps are landed props.. Anyone getting 100Mbps in a condo? Pls confirm.. Thanks. How do you guys negotiate with TM regarding current offer?

alright after 30min it went up to 11MBps, yes it's MBps
but of course it went down to around 9MBps and maintain

It's p2p connections, not direct downloads from a fast server.. Speeds go up and down cuz that's how p2p works.. That's normal.. Client is gathering pieces from all over.. So just let it be.. it'll be done when it is.but of course it went down to around 9MBps and maintain

I'm curious. If we request for our password, TM will have to do a reset and issue a new one. Where do we enter the new password? Router? How does the BTU get connected?

Hi All, good news for those using the Junk TP-Link C1200 UK V1 router, you can go to TP-Link Australia page, look for this firmware
Archer C1200(EU)_V1_170616
Published Date: 2017-06-16
It works and stable. Previously i tried the UK latest firmware, HyppTV not working, now i use this firmware, just select Bolehland-Unifi, put in username and password.
So far so good.
Yeah, been on it awhile now. So far so good and no free advert for TM using my SSID. Archer C1200(EU)_V1_170616

I'm on it... Works fine for me.. Normal CPU load and low memory usage.. Though about once per week or so, the router randomly reboots itself.
