See if there is a sticker somewhere or is it written somewhere on the router box or on the router.
3 phase speed is that your some areas in your house do not share the same wiring and are on different circuits. If that is the case, you won’t get full speed or nothing at all on your powerline because the data is transported on the electrical line.
No, people are using cat5e usually, but I would recommend cat6 for future proof purposes and it is better than cat5e.
Yes, AP function exactly like the main router. Yo can configure it yourself. It will be separate from the main router.
Thanks. Was considering whether shall I go ahead to place the main router in the middle then pull cable to set up AP to ground and another AP at the top floor OR just straight invest in a good router instead. does all router support cat6 or only those expensive range router can support?

Sorry it is the 2nd level of three floor house. So in the middle.
Last time in trying to get the streaming going I tried to use powerline plug, but found out that this solution do not work well with 3 phase power supply.
So I buy D-850 to replace the original supplied D-615, I found out that this router (D-850) covers the whole house sufficiently. Then when Unifi upgraded my connection recently to 100MBps they gave me TP-Link C1200 which gives better wi-fi coverage for the whole house.
For your information we have about 10 devices connected most of time, and uses streaming youtube, kodi, spotify etc. constantly. During family gathering the amount of devices may double that. (D850 no problem, however has yet to test with C1200 <- only start using this with new firmware, not usable before that)
O... alright. Thanks for the info. Is your installation of unifi on the 2nd level of three floor house considered as standard installation? coz from what I know so far is that, TM people will usually place the modern and router next to TV on the ground floor.
FYI, have like 15 devices usually connected to the router for daily usage... haha. so kinda need to ensure everything is done properly before moving in.
