I was suppose to get RM200 discount but like you, it only showed RM150 after installation. My bill was the next day so got overcharged. Made a report about this and a few days later TM put in the RM50 discount and rebated me for that bill. Now waiting for my next bill to make sure everything is in order.

What is the RM50 discount for? confused.gif

this is good!

is this with 2.4 or 5ghz?

2-3 walls... wifi... total distance... 40, 50, 60 ft?

what results u get if u use cat5 ethernet.
am hoping someone using asus ac1300uhp can show results too, thanks.

5Ghz around 10-15m. Cat5 download speed 94mbps, upload quite the same. XD

pretty good for 40-50 ft.

what do u get if u use 2.4ghz?

thanks.

Unstable with 2.4Ghz, but this speed range. 5Ghz signal loss is about -52dbm while 2.4Ghz -66 to -70-80dbm cause unstable. Using TM provided TP-LINK C5.

Asus routers are way overpriced in Malaysia. sad.gif Now with 86U I scare 68U will be neglected.

Hi,

Anyone here can recommend me good 5Ghz WIFI USB adapter .Need to used it to fully utilized my 100Mbps speed...

TP Link T9UH AC1900 or Asus USB-AC68. The latter is quite costly but I am happy with it although it is underutilised with my Archer C5.

it is obvious that this tplink ac1200 has issues - it is by far the dominant thing being discussed in this and at least 2 other threads.

i used it for 24 hours, was fine for my purposes, did not notice any disconnection or auto-reboot.

but i changed it to an asus, been problem free and max performance since.

my fren's been using it for 4 days now - all ok.

most likely a case of hardware quality control, imo.

tm/unifi is not known for supplying the most reliable high quality hardware!!

I like that Asus provide constant firmware updates to its older routers constantly unlike tp link who just rarely updates or discountinued a particular hardware version but the pricing of Asus Routers in Malaysia ridiculous. Way overpriced compared to other countries.
