Hi I also coming from Previous Saga FLX Cvt owner, I can tell you new persona and new facelift iriz the cvt is no more jerk kao kao like saga flx , is improved a lot from previous.  What I can comment the jerk is reduced very minimal until u wont noticed there was a jerk. I always facing traffic so I tested start and stop from traffic jam it won't jerk like saga flx like someone ur car want to jump.

Erm saga flx cvt even u did clutch adaptation still will jerk as per design + software proton provide on that time is dont mature enough so that why alot of problem. But this new persona is best tuned cvt clutch design with the software, its smooth no more jerk like saga flx. If the member feel jerk might be is because they straight away press gas pedal from stopped in traffic jam or there are some problem in gearbox

have not gotten my persona yet, but from my past experience with silverstone m3 in my saga BLM days, it really couldn't make it.. i plan to trade in those tires asap for michelin.. (provided i have the funds tho)

Couldn't find a shop nearby my house that would accept the shitty silverstone tyres for trade in. However, got rm600 for trading the stock rims.

What to do. Really had a near miss accident using those silverstone tyres. Won't take any chances there. Changed the tyres on the first day I got the car. Since my initial budget was for a Subaru Forester for the wife (wife decided on the Persona on the night before purchase, so I got some funds to splurge a bit on the car (changed rims & tyres, installed window tint, custom floor mats, door visors, boot tray on the first day).

Nway, I've changed my tyres to Michelin PS3 for rm220 per piece (195/55R15) inclusive alignment & balancing (exclusive GST).

Just got mine yesterday. New 2018 model sterling silver. I can feel the jerk and asked the s.a. He told me it is common during initial drive. It is true, after you start cruising no jerk anymore. I think it is cvt thingy. Because my wife's new brv also feel the same thing.

Anyway for those who want to gauge the actual fc, you have to calc manually.. the trip computer is really far inaccurate

I still find it unacceptable, that you still get a 1~2 second delay for the car to move after pressing the pedal from stop or idle position.

there is too much travel for the accelerator pedal when pressing the pedal before the car will move.

Agreed. In fact, my saga flx does not have this noticeable delay as much as this persona. If I'm not mistaken, the tranny should be similar albeit the different tweaks.

This delay could spell disaster during split second movements especially from idle or stop go traffic. 

Even the brake pedal travels a lot before it bites (eventhough previously air was bled out during service to reduce the amount of travel).

My friend who did the mechanical mod for the throttle response in his Suprima S recommended me to search for a guy named Azam Akmal in the Campro Group.

He's the expert in this.

My only concern if this will affect the warranty, to what extent?

Done servicing.. Really good service at Senaxis, not really big place but at least staff are friendly.. Can walk to LRT station and go elsewhere if lazy wait at Service center..

Mentioned to them throttle response lag.. Remapped and now faster d. Easier to drive.
Gears is standard apparently.. no issues there (means driver issue lol)

Hi guys, i drove up Ulu Yam in the weekend. i can speed around 80-100 during corners, im using everything stock. is fun to drive, but i do notice if i brake at high speed car feels wobble, im not a car guy but does that means the brake is not good or the tires? silverstone is crap, i even had wheel spin from start stop
