Intend to get something that looks like a rusty-and-dirty-looking steel door. So far only first time experiment with it and this is how it turns out. Need your opinions to see how to better the effects and make it looks more like rust. Didn't sand the filler, not bothered to. I got a new 2nd hand case from my friend's shop for free and its got some plastic extensions for side/top panel. I took one of the side panel extension and layer it with putty filler then experiment with 3 colours; meta black, brown, and dead grey.









P/s: Its not a parang ok although it looks like one ... I dont intend to use this piece so use it as experimental material.

Hmmm... what do you think? Those good with spray painting your opinions and tips will be appreciated. No money to buy Doc O Brien's Weathering Powder or airbrush kit. Hands a bit itchy, the tools are out of the storeroom once again

errr... go watch SAW you'll know... yeah it does looks like a rock once the paint dried up... tmrw i'll add a layer of clear spray see how it looks like...

Back to the topic, what colour you want to spray on this metal thing?

I sprayed a base layer of black, then a highlight layer of grey and finally the brown... i guess i should replace the second layer with silver instead of grey..

maybe the theme should be "ROCK SOLID RIG"

Like that i better save cost go collect batus from roadside and stick to the case
