10x40 is not a small pool. I doubt 100k can do it. Even the digging will cost a bomb

Rent a backhoe for 2 to 3 days job would not be very expansive la.

Yup, wrong digging part is the only unforeseen cost.
But I think those experience swimming pool contractor should know where is the 'dangerous' areas not to dig ba.

Get a experience earth work contractor, dig a hole and buy a 20ft or 40ft container

get m&e guy , weld seal the container, install pump and circulation pipe, etc, use salt water if you don't want to use pumps (better to have)

heres the concept from online, google container pool

if you don't mind ugly then you can install it above ground, or decorate the walls, or half buried it.

Hi, I have a pool and it's one of the best decisions I've made for my family. We spend more time together and now instead of going out, the kids bring their friends over. Construction of a free-form pool is expensive but if you have the budget, It's worth it!

There are also other options like fiberglass or liner pools which are cheaper. I know Classic Above Ground Pools in Malaysia offer really big DIY portable pools. Not sure about maintenance but it shouldn't cost so much.

My pool was done by Aquarius Swimming Pools, they were highly recommended to me and I would do the same too. Super easy to work with and they're clear about job-scope. They have fiberglass too if I'm not mistaken. https://www.aquariuspools.com.my/

Fiberglass cheaper than concrete pool and liner is the cheapest. Hope this info helps smile.gif
