I'm sorry if this has been discussed before. I tried search related topic but cannot find.
My MacBook Pro retina early 2015 started producing distorted sound since last week. I never use high volume, most of the time I use earphone or wireless headphone. The mac is still under warranty. Anybody care to share similar issue and how it's been solved? Thanks

All my macbook pro have this problem. But unlucky for me that they are all after warranty period. To fix will cost a bomb. If I were you, I will rush to the authorized service center now.

Thanks! I've got another year because I bought the extended Apple care.

The last macbook pro i have such problem happened when I put my palm on top of the speakers grilles. I can almost felt the "pop" and the speaker blown. Then I remember I like to put stuff like notepad on my previous mbp too. I believe that cause the problem when the mbp getting old. smile.gif

Now, the latest mbp design grilles are just for cosmetic purpose. The speaker are not located there anymore. Maybe Apple also believe it too.
