.......
600% PERFORMANCE INCREASE ON SNX

tldr: Nvidia holded back the Titan XP performance so they can sell more Quadros and brag about how much performance they increased for the next gen, well vega got them releasing a new driver upping the performance to 6x

Please discuss your thoughts, I'm interested
For me, I and thinking of switching from a 1080ti to a vega, nvidia is such a scummy company

You're right that Nvidia are scum for crippling their own product so heavily when there was a lack of competition. But from what I've seen, Vega's gaming performance will still fall short of the 1080/ti quite significantly, so I won't blame people who want a 1080 or ti.

vega is not meant for gaming, its like using a quadro to game, the vega's performance is surprisingly good when compared to gtx 1060 for mining. (though the power usage could be improved)

also volta is coming out in january, pretty early for a new lineup

No. There are gaming and pro models for Vega. AMD made claims that the Vega was going to be competitive with the 1080 for gaming.

AMD has already said that the NDA for the RX Vega was going to be lifted mid-August for a while. And they gave out some teaser benchmark numbers since last month.
If you search you should be able to find reviews on Vega 56/64 and those cards for sale at online retailers.
