nobody from both sides seems to give a f about these rules, since the taxi now looks like it came out from the junkyard

can...to compensate all these 'extra unnecessary' requirements, both uber & grab increase riders fare. at the end who rugi?
maybe many part timers will quit bcos of the extra ruling. less drivers, means higher surges to meet demand. who rugi?
we're independent and democratic country, why dont SPAD ask the Malaysian public what they want? which service they rather use? Taxi, bus or uber/grab?
All these issues came up bcos ONE stupid fxxker decided to rob a pregnant lady. yes, SPAD has been like a dog on leash waiting to jump but couldn't. Suddenly that fxxker gave them all the reason to bark. SPAD couldn't be happier.
Understand this, when a public person, decides to take public transport (taxi, bus, train, airplane), he/she is automatically at risk, rob, beaten, accident bla bla bla. he/she can be harassed by drivers, by other passengers, but a nutty guy etc etc. risk is everywhere and u can't avoid unless u stay home and drive your own transport.
But wouldn't you agree the driver's are also at risk? uber/grab driver picks up complete strangers all the time. going to places they couldn't imagine. who's to say the driver's safety is guaranteed?
take the case of uber driver being robbed at knife point. robber was sentenced to jail. end of story? why not make every e-hailing riders go through medical and criminal background check too?
drivers make money from rides, yes, agreed. but you think riders don't benefit from e-hailing services? how many taxi drivers will be willing drive you from LRT station to back home which is 2km and RM3.00 away? before this, u either wait for the bus or walk..
how many riders willing to wait by taxi stand, queue and then negotiate price with taxi drivers becos its Friday rush hour?
e-hailing service, for better or for worse, works both way. beneficial to all. please don't punish us drivers just becos of a couple of bad eggs.
some ppl drive for fun. some ppl drive becos they have extra time. some ppl drive becos they can make extra money. but some, their life, their family's life depends on it. be considerate. don't be an ass. just becos you wanna win the votes of taxi drivers, doesn't mean you should make life miserable for others.
again, ask the public what they want.

taxi already started to change. those who working in the big 5 car companies know that we already start taking contracts to outfit new cars with the Teks1M already.
