My sister and her husband are one of the unfortunate buyers of apartments in this scam by Juta Permai.
Apparently, the offer to provide fixture and fittings to the buyers as LAD compensation may sound nice but why cant the developer just pay these affected buyers their LAD in cash??
With the buyer already burdened with interest payments and NON-DELIVERY of their apartment units, LAD claims payments in cash will help them ease their interest burdens.
Is this a ploy by the developer to buy more time?
This whole affair sounds fishy.
Dear house buyer...I surprised that you have not questioned this.
