As usual, here is some pictures to share. The shots were taken at weekend, Federal Hotel, Jalan Bukit Bintang.

I had recently changed some of my shooting technique due to the purchase of more CFs. It mean I can finally to afford shooting all raw with 12-bit dynamic range. Wow!

All photos shown here has no cropped nor any post processing. They are merely converted to JPEG from the original Canon Raw file that give me advantages of the dynamic range.

Anyway, I found that there are still several weakness here that the Canon raw could not fix. It was my mistakes. I should have using some flash to create the catch light on the eyes. But I didn't.... Mistake... Mistake... Mistake... And I will improve on future shooting.

Do comments anything if you like. Enjoy.

maybe u are shooting in raw format, some pictures seem rather dim to me.

i didnt use any flash during the shot, but most of my pictures appears brighter mainly becoz of the weather or flashes from other photogs sweat.gif

Yes you are right. It feel soft... simply because I shot with rather large aperture for narrow DoF.

My advice to you : You still need to spend more time in your Metering and Compo skills, I suggest you revert back to JPEG where you can have quantity before you can work out the quality expect of the images.

In other words, no point having super high quality images and spending so much time in front of the PC (or not) when you lack exposure and composition punch in your work.

Thanks for your advise.

And I agreed with you. It is why now I buy BIG BIG CF so I can shoot in both RAW + JPEG. Wow... thumbup.gif

Anyway, there is still a long way to go in order to get good shots... Brother me still learning here and there.... tongue.gif

Master AC98 is really good and you are right. All shots are done at f1.2 @ 85mm tongue.gif
