Using MacBook Pro TB 2016 version. Got it earlier this month and so far I really enjoy it. Web browsing, Youtube and movie is no complaint with the retina screen either.

Only things is to backup my pen drive and format to FAT system otherwise I most my excel read only and I can't saving any new files into it.

u can format to exFAT but also other ways

if wanna use NTFS and gain write access, install paragon NTFS for mac

vice versa as for windows, install paragon HFS+ in windows to gain read/write access for HFS+ format hdd

exFat is not a good format to use, it is not compatible in a lot of devices.

install third party tool to manage NTFS in MacOS is a better option. NTFS is more widely recognized format afterall.

u cannot transfer files more than 4gb if using fat32.

I never recommend fat32 I never recommend exfat as u suggest instead. At this century, no one should even think about fat32 in the first place.

Many home appliance or computer devices like tv, wireless router, cloud storage etc all do Nor recognise exfat but NTFs is certainly not a problem.

Since it can only be recognised mostly in computer systems, it is not useful file system if one is to use it across different systems.

that's why NTFS is the best file system to use. Since macOS or other OS can recognise it natively for read at least but Windows does not recognise hfs even for read without third party tool.
it is way easier to just stick to NTFS for everything and just make macOS capable to write on it.

If you buy Toshiba Canvio portable hard drives, it comes with free Tuxera that enables your Mac to write to NTFS file formatted drives

Careful bro. My SSD once died on me before. Once corrupt, percentage to recover data are very small.
