QUOTE(alien3d @ Oct 15 2017, 10:10 AM) 5m ? I think port full .. 8 house per port.My Road only have one white box.. impossible to said 5M. Not really my friend, my friend is TM guy.Yeah 8 port per around 30 house per road.. Who first got it. it's depend the CODE of the Distribution Box... Standard is 8 port, but max is 16 ports (already built inside, open as requests) behind got A word is 4 ports Max, behind got B word is only 2 ports. If every 16 ports applied 100Mbps, then they all sharing 1Gbps fiber bandwidth and this made overcrowded during peaks hours... |

QUOTE(twL @ Oct 20 2017, 12:42 AM) Hi... I saw the TM contractor connect a yellow cable to the box and do something at bottom, is it they are doing the interenet testing/tuning? On this step, is it mean the service will available very soon or might still need to do this steps for few times? yes, they testing the connectivity... normally will launching in next month but also might delayed...On 14/8, the contractor told me will available after 1 month, on 16/9, they told me will available in 2-3 weeks, now already 2 months since first month, but no any update yet. They jz fit the white box on the pole on last 2 saturday... Tot the service will ready available very soon in 1 month time, but actually no. need to push the person-in-charges for faster (for me, luckily i've got pre-launching) |

(if you've notice they installed DB box and address already inside system, better go TMpoint and reserve your port first) |

QUOTE(s2000c @ Oct 21 2017, 12:15 AM) https://aduan.skmm.gov.my/NO need, directly drop complaint to SKMM and TM 100 (ask for report ID)... But need wait their OFFICIAL LAUNCHING RM99 first... Then those haven't install yet, better cancel first... the installer is just contractors, only got commissions from TM after 1 month installed. (so that they can go other projects. (unless you don't mind the extra RM30) This post has been edited by wilson1stop: Oct 20 2017, 11:22 PM |

QUOTE(nmb3rs @ Oct 21 2017, 12:27 AM) Seems like u're still on the older firmware for the router. I suggest that you update it to version 2.09TM which should have patched several vulnerabilities on your router. Thank you for your advice, Go to Management > Upgrade > Check for New Firmware You should see that there's a newer version available and can proceed from there... but I'm IT experts stayed in very rural fish villages... Doubts any hackers around me, just a WPA2 security breeches Not really impact to me actually... |

IF THEN everyone KEEP QUIET!!!A BIG IF, IF they upgrade speed or discount RM30, IF NOT then? few years later, our GENIUS ministers will say Malaysians preferred SLOW SPEED and OK with the PRICES!! Ain't that true? |

QUOTE(soonwai @ Oct 21 2017, 01:58 PM) TM marketing strategy. Lfmao!!A: Let’s introduce UniFi Lite at RM99. B: No, wait, let’s do it at RM129 first and see how many water fish jump for it. A&B: ROFL, dun like they can go Maxpert. (ROFL again) Maybe their orginal price is RM79, same like WeBe and Yes FIZ... Perhaps few months later, New Promo price is RM79 indeed... QUOTE(ClarenceT @ Oct 21 2017, 04:26 PM) Now existing users complaining so nobody will get it. Happy ending! Lfmao, I wouldn't complaint for OKU packages, their entitled for 25% discounted already... below RM100 already, just FYI...Let college/university students, OKU, low-income group enjoy RM99 at the beginning, just like 4Mbps@RM88 in the past. No one should complain! This post has been edited by wilson1stop: Oct 21 2017, 03:29 PM |

QUOTE(fkinmeng @ Oct 21 2017, 06:42 PM) Phone got many suppliers, you don't like this brand, you can go another brand. Bro, apparently he don't understanding what is called MONOPOLY!!Now tell me how many suppliers for wired broadband for landed house? What other choice we have other than unifi? TM need to have a BALL to offers Contract-Free like Umobile or Webe did, Why TM tied us 24-months contract but kept offered new subscribers with special PROMO, while Exciting clients is NOT eligible? We just asked to BE FAIR to every customers, especially early adopters. (NOT ABOUT PHONES!!!) This post has been edited by wilson1stop: Oct 21 2017, 06:09 PM |
