went to tmpoint pandan indah. wanted to upgrade my unifi lite rm129 which i just subscribed last month to the bonanza 139.

At first they confidently told me can.

But when he tried to click on the system, he told me it is missing.

So they asked me to fill in the form and took thumbprint and say they will do it later once it is back in system.

Looks like HQ might have withdrawn it.
.....
I was given the same excuse at TM Point Shah Alam today. bangwall.gif bangwall.gif
They said the plan is available and gave me the flyer, but then same thing, the option to upgrade is not available in the system.
The counter girl told me today at least 3 other users before me also having the same problem, and they said could be the HQ never update or remove from the system.

They took my thumb-print and gave me the service number form and they said they'll get back to me via SMS or email once they can upgrade my account

i also went to TM Point yesterday . Bayan Baru Pg. They said the Bonanza campaign will be back on their system 15th Nov. She took my thumbprint and say will process for me tomorrow.
upgrade from Lite to Lite 30MB --> add RM10/month. no deck phone, agent will come and install STB box this week.
*
Do update us again once they have called you to confirm that your upgrade is successfull.
The Shah Alam TM Point called me on Monday telling me that they still can't process my application as the Bonanza campaign is still not in the system for existing subscribers

Received SMS from TM on my installation date tomorrow.
But they never specified the timing, so I use Live Chat to confirm on the installation and upgrade.

So will see tomorrow how it all turns up.
Have to prepare Surat Kuasa to my wife and my photocopy IC too as I won't be at home during installation.

Only this August.
I applied for the upgrade last Friday at TM Point, Shah Alam.
But as the Bonanza upgrade was not in their system, they just took me thumbprint and gave me a service request form

Received a call from TM at 2 pm confirming my details and on the installation.
After she confirmed everything, she told me that TM will disconnect my Unifi Lite from 3 pm today until the installation tomorrow morning.

If it is an upgrade why need to disconnect/ terminate first?
*
Beats me.
She said to prevent any complication during the installation ,bla, bla, bla.
So I just said OK in case she cancelled the installation if I disagree to their terms hmm.gif

See...some1 manage to upgrade just add RM10....
By call 100 only....

I did call 100 number to upgrade from Lite to Advance early last week.
The CS confirmed that I am eligible for upgrade and took down all my particulars, etc and said email or SMS will follow soon to confirm on the upgrade.
Few working days later when I never received SMS or email on my upgrade, I did online chat and lo and behold, they don't have my upgrade request in the system.

That's when I decided to visit TM Point and apply for the same upgrade there.
Eventhough the upgrade is not in the system, at least the counter lady filled up my service request form and took my thumbprint.
She did call me on Monday to inform me that the upgrade is still not in the system but promised to follow up and update me on my upgrade.
Yesterday TM confirmed on my installation appointment for this morning and at 10 a.m. today, the installer called me that he will come at 11 later.

Moral of the story,
To play safe, go to TM Point and get them to take your thumbprint and ask them to give your the service request form.
At least you have a paper proof if you want to escalate further

TM installer came to my house around 12pm to install and configure the HyppTV.
My wife said they finished the installation about 20-30 mins after.
I asked her to check using Speedtest and the speed is now up to 30Mbps. rclxms.gif

My wife said the installer left the installation form, etc for us to redeem the DECT phone and free iFlix until end of the year.

Will be going down to TM Point Quill Mall after work to meet the missus and redeem the phone as that's the only TM point around KL that are still open after office hour or during the weekend.

Don't despair my friends. There are still hope.
Go to TM Point, tell them you want to upgrade to Advance Bonanza, get your thumbprint taken and ask them for the service request form and just pray and wait for the SMS/phone call from them.
Fingers crossed icon_rolleyes.gif

My wife did not ask him what type of DECT phone it is.
Will let you know once I redeem the phone from TM Point

Successfully upgraded from Unifi Lite to Unifi Advance (Bonanza) yesterday afternoon.

Now can easily watch Netflix 4K at 2160p without keep on buffering

Those still waiting for the upgrade, do continue pestering them via live chat or at TM Point icon_rolleyes.gif

how is it so that u need to buffer for 4k netflix? im watchin it on my unifi lite.. it will start stream from 720 n slowly upscale to 4k. it will take time (usually within 3-5mins).. but nvr had buffering issue unless some1 is doing downloading..
*
Normally the buffering issue happens if I pause watching and when I play again, it will either start streaming from low res or buffering.
Once it stream at 2160p, it will not pass 9Mbps when I was on Unifi Lite, but now I’m on Unifi 30Mbps, the 4K broadcast normally streams around 15-16Mbps.

redeem phone from TM confirm is wired one due to their catalogue online only showing wired phone. They want us spend the UNIFI service subscription free  points given by TM and redeem their pah-liah phone. instead of wireless phone.  rclxms.gif  bruce.gif
*
You are right.
Instead of DECT phone, it is the normal wired phone.
The SA told me that the DECT phone are only for those on RM199/mth plan.
Even the normal phone, had to redeemed the 3500 free points bangwall.gif

Upgrade means they give you new equipment as well is it?

Only the HyppTV box, as the original modem and router from Unifi Lite can support 30Mbps

On my dashboard it stated as "Promo Discount Perpetual".
But my Service Start Date still captured the day I subscribed to Unifi Lite, instead of the upgrade date of 17 Nov 2017

It comes with hypp tv. So TM is going to install the hypp tv box for you as in the package?
*
Yes.
TM will SMS/call you about 1 day in advance to arrange installation.
The installer will install and configure the HyppTV box.

Only the phone, i.e. wired phone, need to be redeemed from TM Point.
They will deduct 3500 point from your TM Rewards for the wired phone

1080p from good source like Netflix or Youtube should be no problem.
When I was still on Unifi Lite, can also watch Netflix 4K at 2160p, but speed of around 7-9Mbps
