Just chat with TM regarding upgrade from Unifi Lite to Bonanza 139. He told me still can do it at TM Point. Tomoro gonna go TM Point and see how. If they say cannot. gonna show the live chat history as proof and screw them up.

If not wrong, they don come over to your premise to do the upgrade. as for hardware u need to walk in to TM point.

Hypptv STB cannot be set, username error, not in system.
Installer call 100, and problem not solve,  say that 100 inform him bonanza package has no STB, only everywhere.
I cannot connect to hypptv everywhere with the new password.

Installer took back STB,

I recheck with TM live chat, they say advance 30mbps include STB but currently IPTV has issue.
They will get back to me when it is resolved.
They will inform installer to resend the STB to me when resolved.

Jus live chat with TM. looks like they don allow for upgrade. Bonanza only for new customer. Im out of country now. Cant go back to TM point to verify..

so it looks like they U-turn ady n don allow upgrade anymore.
well.. this was given by 1 of the reseller to me... i did live chat with TM and make a dispute with them
so they logged a case for me n fwd to sales rep who will contact me within 5 working days. but i guess i can jus forget about it since none of you guys are getting it as well except for those who upgraded earlier[attachmentid=9332752]

Just went to TM point (Miri), still cant do upgrade selection. But they taken thumbprint and did verification. All I can say is there is no hope to get upgraded from unifi lite (129) to bonanza (139) anymore.
They say will contact me when they are able to do the selection is their system but I have 0% hope at the time being.

No point jus taking thumbprint. They cant even do any upgrade selection in system. The thumbprint is jus to verify who u r and if the acc match the person that came to the counter. After tat they jus write down my request in a dam big log book. I can see lost of names listed there. All of them also wanted to upgrade to bonanza when I ask the front agent. So, we are not alone.. There r a lot more wanting the same thing.

Not worth it to pay penalty RM500. If u change to 139.. tats additional RM10/month on top of ur current plan. In total for ur upgrade.. it will be RM500+240=RM740
Span out tat RM740 across 24mths, u might as well jus go with the normal price 30mbps which is at 199. Tat 1 they can select in system.

So i got 2 calls from TM today

1st call. from KL.. They called me cos I left a very bad rating after live chat yesterday
She asked what seems to be the problem. So I explained what is the stupid problem I am facing. A tell me story A, B tell me story B, yada yada... And there is no definite answer from TM respresentative. So she said she will find out for me wat is the problem. Couldn't be bothered as I know they wont call me back again.

2nd Call. From TM Point Miri. The same agent attended me last Fri when I went to upgrade. She told me there was a memo telling them to stop the upgrade bcos the system is not ready. She will try again next week. As of now, alot of ppl requested for upgrade but they jus cant proceed with it cos they cannot c the package in system. She will call me back n update again next week.

Conclusion. There is no definite answer if u can get upgraded from lite (129) to bonanza (139). If u wan to on board this hopeless hope to get upgraded, go to ur nearest TM point n bug them. if they take down ur details n did verification, means they r aware u r in the waiting list. other than tat, don put high expectation.

My 2nd call was from TM point.. not the marketing team.. i got the call from TM point cos i repeatedly went there for the upgrade follow up. When u c the pole is up, estimated it will take roughly another half year before it is ready. that was the case with my dad's place. The pole is right outside my dad's house. can see that the physical fiber is ready but likely the commissioning was not done yet. u know la.. so many vendors involved.

how is it so that u need to buffer for 4k netflix? im watchin it on my unifi lite.. it will start stream from 720 n slowly upscale to 4k. it will take time (usually within 3-5mins).. but nvr had buffering issue unless some1 is doing downloading..

So I wan ranting last week about the upgrade thingy. Well well.. upon receiving the call from TM Point (Miri), they finally made a order to process my upgrade from lite (129) to bonanza (139) without informing me.

How i got to know it?
1st, i got an email stating my hypptv plan was changed. I find it wierd.. but my gut feeling keep telling me to login unifi.com.my to c wat changed.
2nd, i login n check in unifi.com.my under 'activity'. Saw an order submitted on Friday 5PM (5mins after TM Point called).
3rd, copy the order no. n check with live chat y hypptv plan chaged. see below.

Anyway, will not trust them until someone call me for appointment n upgrade my speed since they already U-TURN so many times. Lets c how. fingers crossed for now.
