If you are on Unifi Lite and somehow you got a hypptv box (friend give it to you or you buy from somwehere), the customer service will not entertain you (to register MAC address or any other requirement). They say because of the plan. If want to enjoy Hypptv (not hypptv everywhere), have to upgrade.

Yes, I currently own a Mi Box which I use with HyppTV Everywhere. But you gonna need normal mouse or remote with air mouse functionality like the MINIX remote as HyppTV Everywhere app does not support normal remote function - you can't navigate to the footer/tab and there's no indicator of where you are currently pointing.

Install Aptoide or Aptoide for Androud TV and look for the app

Just to add, Mi Box is using Android TV OS and not Android mobile version. Most China made Android boxes come with forked version of Android mobile version.

HyppTV Everywhere can't be found in Android TV Play Store as Google has strict guideline on app for Android TV.

You may be able to find the app inside China Android boxes' Play Store as it identifies the box as mobile device, but there is issue with the app as you can only access TV1, TV2 and Luxe TV.

I think may be about the same quality or a bit lower. There's a setting for bandwidth for the channel you are currently viewing, default setting is Auto. I noticed there can be quite frequent lags on live tv (on Auto bandwidth), if you force at lower bandwidth you gonna sacrifice video quality, but if you force highest bandwidth to achieve best quality at all times, may experience lags. So that's that.

I don't watch live channel anyway, just that when parents come to town, gonna have to prepare for them as they dunno how to navigate Mi Box.

Can enjoy iflix for free until 31 Dec, or subscribe to Netflix. TM's partnership with Netflix I reckon might just be 2 or 3 months free access after which have to subscribe. As Netflix is costlier than iflix for TM to subsidise (rm33 - rm51 per month vs rm8 / rm10 for iflix), but i think the partnership will be more offerings of Netflix app in the HyppTV STB box

Last year they developed HyppTV Everywhere Tizen app for Samsung Smart TV - I think its just a matter of porting that to Android TV app.

but same cost, rm129 + SST

Upgraded since 28 Sept 2019, and no contract renewal (i can terminate without any issue)
