It won’t improve anything as GrynnRyder said, DNS just resolves hostname to IP, that’s all. Anyway, I still prefer Google DNS as the lack of a secondary DNS IP address is a worry, if it is down someday. This could be avoided if they have set up anycast properly, which looks like they did, but I would still prefer an alternative if possible. Google has two DNS IP address, which is better.

So pissed off at TM right now. I'm paying 140 for 4mbps streamyx but my neighbour can already pay 129 for 10mbps unifi lite. Went to check at tmpoint and they say its because his cabinet is the new Subb type.

His house is phase 2 of the housing area while mine is phase 1 but it's only 50m distance. Any way I can request to switch cabinets?

I tried all of the above code, call forwarding cannot be done. It says something along the line of "you do not have access to this number". Is that call forwarding need to be subscribe also? Not that I urgently need it though, but if that feature is given free why not keep it.
New system now can transfer your existing copper number to Unifi. Therefore if you choose to retain old number, TM will no longer provide RM1 rental but RM25. I've done that when I subscribe my unifi lite, the transfer is instantanious.
For those who previously get a new number, if you decide to port over the copper line number to UniFi also can be done at tmpoint.
8mb Streamyx and 10mb Unifi lite, of course 10mb is faster. On top of that, Unifi upload speed is much superior at 5mb compare to streamyx which only 512kb upload. You can always upgrade from Streamyx to unifi, but not the other way round. If your area already have Unifi, why not just take the 10mb pack. It is cheaper than your 8mb streamyx.

Unifi B40 is Internet-only, no HyppTV. Only for the poorest 40% households. Just like Streamyx 1Mbps@RM68, 4Mbps@RM88 a few years ago.
So most likely the rest paying RM129 for 30Mbps (free upgrade from Lite) with HyppTV (not sure with TV box?)

If ur unifi lite is using copper line then the max dload speed shd be around -+80Mbps , while upload is around -+30Mbps depend on the copper line condition too .
U can check on ur modem DSL status.

TM earlier mentioned transitions needed 5 years, and HSBB is focusing in State Capital and Major Towns, while the rest is SUBB areas.

if ur area still used cooper, connection unstable like's streamyx. unifi lite have 2, under cooper u can't get upgrade to turbo 100mbps b'coz cooper max 30mbps. unifi lite under HSBB fibre, u can go the turbo upgrade. fibre line very stable n good received wifi wave.
