Just want to share my experience as a new Unifi Lite subscriber, from Streamyx 4M.

Installation: paid RM50 for "connector" (my father was a wireman, he lay out the piping over the ceiling and help the contractor to pull the fiber optic to the living room. Since the connector can't pass-through the pipe at corners, technician has to cut it and re-connect with a connector once the fiber optic came out from the ceiling. Took him 2 minutes only to earn RM50)

Modem given: TP-Link AC1200 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router (Model: Archer C1200) & Huawei HG8240w

Speed test: ping <10, Down 10.5, Up 5.2 (very stable speed). No throttling for torrent.

The technician help me to set both 2.4 & 5.0Ghz band for Wifi. Wifi connection on both laptop (2.4GHz) & android phone (5.0Ghz), no problem.

Rmb to do these
1) Change log in password for 192.168.0.1 (default username/ pw was 'admin')

2) Change DNS setting for both IPv4 & IPv6
Google Public DNS IPv4 addresses:
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4
Google Public DNS IPv6 addresses:
2001:4860:4860::8888
2001:4860:4860::8844

I still have questions, and may need to visit TM point to clarify, unless I can get the answer here

(Q1) My streamyx line is still active (despite the technician confirmed that it will be terminated once Unifi is activated, as stated in his laptop). OMG, I may get charged for streamyx!

(Q2) How to ask for deposit refund of copper telephone line?

(Q3) Hypptv everywhere can log in, but all channels can't be played. Error message "Playback error due to some problem with the device(111). Please try again or call 100" . My Redmi Note 3 is rooted, could this be the cause?

Already registered when I have Streamyx, now has >2000 TM Reward point. However, my streamyx acc is still "Active" and I don't see any Unifi acc under my name/ email (same email for Streamyx & unifi).

Install the hypptvhd. My username/ password is incorrect, which is weird because I tried both the supplied password & the newly changed password, both failed to even log in. When i click forget password, both options (sms & email) don't have any button to click to proceed to next step.

TQVM, I'm so dumb to put my username as xxxx@unifi, now can watch some channels already. I cannot thank you enough for your guide!
