10mbps internet only. No unlimited phone calls and hypptv. Useful for only internet usage.

If you satisfy with your current speed then no need to consider to topup RM20 for 10x speed for Streamyx 1M with RM110 as it is pointless since your current usage have no issue.

Don't upgrade for the sake of just it is worthwhile if you are not using such speed.

Will ask streamyx customers in UniFi area to upgrade to UniFi basically. So rather than paying 140 for 4mb/8mb, why not take 129 for 10mb.

Then have to wait for 15 July to check and see what happen. but a few possible scenario, assuming your area have unifi.
Upgrade to 30mbps unifi for b40 if qualify, pricing maintain or slightly up. This Unifi 30mb has a 60gb quota and originally priced at RM79. Otherwise, upgrade to UniFi turbo which is more expensive. So far there seems to be no indication they will give UniFI turbo RM60.
Worst case scenario you get only double the current streamyx speed.

I hope you do not take it very seriously until the official website to check upgrade is up. We still have no exact idea what TM gonna do with streamyx users on unifi area, though they said will contact them to upgrade to unifi. I am sure there will not be enough port if the whole taman streamyx upgrade to unifi. So in the end, how? push them to UniFI wireless? double the speed? reduce pricing?
I do hope they do something for streamyx users here, because coming from streamyx to unifi, I feel how you guys feel. . Back when the 2017 thank you campaign, a lot of streamyx users including me only got webe mobile to take as a streamyx user. They could have just upgrade me to double speed, but they choose not to.

Back in Apr-18, I received an offer to upgrade from Streamyx 8Mnps (RM89) to Unifi Lite 10Mbps and the monthly bill remain the same.
Now the internet is faster (especially the upload speed) and much more stable.

I kept on asking the promoter to confirm this offer will not increase my monthly bill.. Scared got scam by TM 

If the promoter wasn't legit, what can they do to me when I just said "yes" for the free upgrade?

If that free upgrade words weren't there previously, then its possible that it means that you are eligible for a free upgrade. Are you in a Unifi area?

In that case the words free upgrade may refer to the previous upgrade you got from 384K to 1M. Maybe the words were there all lthis while.

If you are in Unifi area, and you are eligible, I think you should get upgraded to Unifi maybe 10M. Unless they just upgrade you to Streamyx 2M  for double speed. Who knows wha they will do...

Just wait for an email or maybe until 15 Aug and see what happens. If you are eligible to upgrade to Unifi, maybe the price you are paying now will remain the same which makes it a good deal. I think that is what they mean by free upgrade from Streamyx to Unifi.

2. Are you landed or highrise?
3. There are two types of Unifi Copper.
    a) SUBB copper = landed Unifi copper - > usually only support up to 10 Mbps
    b) VDSL copper = highrise Unifi copper - > max can go 50 Mbps

Most probably FTTH if landed. If u have BTU instead of the ZTE all-in-one router the should be FTTH. Unifi Lite only unifi playTV app, no STB but I doubt u will watch their TV programme They will credit the TM reward points for u to redeem the dect phone at TMPoint. Best part u got no contract, enjoy!

Depends ur current speed. 10X of ur current speed.
TM says that existing users on the Unifi 30Mbps plan will be upgraded to 300Mbps, 50Mbps will be upgraded to 500Mbps and subscribers on the Unifi 100Mbps plan will be upgraded to 800Mbps.
