if you are waiting for the speed upgrade, you will be migrated to UniFi Lite at RM149.

Better upgrade manually and get the UniFi Lite at RM129.

you must be using TPLink Archer C5 or C1200 right ?

So they don't segmentize by access technology.

UniFi will cover FTTH/VDSL/LTE/UMTS/ADSL.

But imagine if they rebrand Streamyx to UniFi, the expensive one will be on ADSL.

UniFi Lite will be having a new promotion.With more discount.Nice.Good for new customers.

HyppTV Pack = RM 30 comes with Free HyppTV Everywhere Plan A. No need to pay RM 5.

If the bundle with HyppTV, it will come under 1 bill.Stop misleading people.

So total is RM 129 without GST.

Yes, the naming convention can get you confused.

it is normal when comes to marketing.it is a targeting campaign.you have a specific target of customers.

but nowadays, it can backfire too when everything can get viral too soon due everyone wants the same deal too especially if the offering is cheaper.that's what happened to Maxis a few years back.

TM marketing is predictable, they always give u at least RM30-RM50 discounts.

possible the split ratio to more than 8 meaning the OLT rack at the central office can handle more subscriber and the uplink can support more data transfer.

Nowadays the configuration for TM FDC is different from early TM HSBB1 implementation.

1.Today's FDC is designed to have incoming 36 cores for main and 36 cores for protection. The incoming here means the fiber is straight away direct to TM's exchange. Usually practice, they used only 12 cores for main, 12 cores for protection.

2. Inside this FDC, each core will be patched to 2x4 splitter. See the black box on the left side.

3. From this splitter, the outgoing port (each splitter has 4 outgoing) will be spliced to distribution cable. Most people called this as E-side cable.

4. At E-side, each outgoing port served to one FDP. And this FDP can served 8 users.

5. So to answer your question:
-If the incoming fiber from TM exchange is 12 cores, it can serves up to 48 FDP.
-If the incoming fiber from TM exchange is 24 cores, it can serves up to 96 FDP.
-If the incoming fiber from TM exchange is 36 cores, it can serves up to 144 FDP.

So the answer is 144 FDP at maximum configuration.This 144 FDP can provide 1,152 unifi subscribers.

RM99+RM30+RM20 = RM 149,So your pack is worth RM 149.

But if you pay only RM109. That's mean you have a discount!

To calculate your discount value, RM149 - RM 109 = RM 40 discount.

You can verify this by looking at the line item with "Promo discount" or " Special discount" wording.These two cannot co-exist together.You will only have one type of discount on one service.[technically supported under certain condition]

For "Promo discount", you may have 1 or 2 lines stating the amount of discount.If you have 2, add it up.It will be your total discount.The perpetual mean your discount is forever as long you stick with the current plan.If not perpetual, it is time-based discount which 24 months is the maximum duration.

For Special discount, your discount is perpetual too.

If you can understand until this point, you will understand why every one of us is having different price compared to others.

Since the Thank You campaign and previous free upgrades, the package price range for every speed is widening and may intercept with the next best speed price.You may see
