I was scared they might subscribe me to another plan accidentally. I double checked, its the Unifi Lite plan, 10Mbps. Currently I am getting 13-15Mbps down, 17mbps up.

TM performs speed cap audit/correction annually.
In 2016, all packages speed are reduced by 2 - 3 Mbps.
It is known as 30Mbps --> 28Mbps club, 50Mbps --->47 Mbps clubs and 100 Mbps ---> 96-98 Mbps club.

This year 2017 = seem like TM takes account of protocol overhead and certain subscribers areas finally get their rated speed.

if you are in new township or new Taman, you may get a little more than your subscribed speed as not many residence or ur neighbors are sharing your fiber node.
However, when getting more subscribers in your fiber nodes sharing, then your line will back to normal in your subscribed speed or may drop a bit as TM broadband is "Best Effort"

hi, I first time subscribe to UNIFI (now still using 4mbps snailmix). Tomorrow they'll come to my home for unifi installation...just curious, for Unifi Lite 10Mbps..how much they charge for 1st bill (lets say, just basic installation with no extra wire meter?) ??

Just want to share my experience as a new Unifi Lite subscriber, from Streamyx 4M.

Installation: paid RM50 for "connector" (my father was a wireman, he lay out the piping over the ceiling and help the contractor to pull the fiber optic to the living room. Since the connector can't pass-through the pipe at corners, technician has to cut it and re-connect with a connector once the fiber optic came out from the ceiling. Took him 2 minutes only to earn RM50)

Modem given: TP-Link AC1200 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router (Model: Archer C1200) & Huawei HG8240w

Speed test: ping <10, Down 10.5, Up 5.2 (very stable speed). No throttling for torrent.

The technician help me to set both 2.4 & 5.0Ghz band for Wifi. Wifi connection on both laptop (2.4GHz) & android phone (5.0Ghz), no problem.

Rmb to do these
1) Change log in password for 192.168.0.1 (default username/ pw was 'admin')

2) Change DNS setting for both IPv4 & IPv6

I still have questions, and may need to visit TM point to clarify, unless I can get the answer here

(Q1) My streamyx line is still active (despite the technician confirmed that it will be terminated once Unifi is activated, as stated in his laptop). OMG, I may get charged for streamyx!

(Q2) How to ask for deposit refund of copper telephone line?

(Q3) Hypptv everywhere can log in, but all channels can't be played. Error message "Playback error due to some problem with the device(111). Please try again or call 100" . My Redmi Note 3 is rooted, could this be the cause?

I just tried to surf http://occ.unifi.my, it reroutes to http://unifi.com.my

Already registered when I have Streamyx, now has >2000 TM Reward point. However, my streamyx acc is still "Active" and I don't see any Unifi acc under my name/ email (same email for Streamyx & unifi).

Install the hypptvhd. My username/ password is incorrect, which is weird because I tried both the supplied password & the newly changed password, both failed to even log in. When i click forget password, both options (sms & email) don't have any button to click to proceed to next step.

why you go change the password?, do let everything stabilized first before doing so. did you forget "username@iptv"

TQVM, I'm so dumb to put my username as xxxx@unifi, now can watch some channels already. I cannot thank you enough for your guide!

if you just got your unifi, hypptv viewing free 30 days for all channels, after 30 days ended, you will be revert back to your original subscribe package.

* don't forget to register for your iflix (free viewing until end of 2017) and viutv (free for 1 month).

Been trying to re-register with this new TM unifi.com.my website. Got the SMS but got this error at the end. Twice already and I don't know why

Try Forget Password and restart again. Make sure it's the latest email, cause the links generated from the Forget Password option is unique.

I keep getting the TAC late, after the 180 secs has passed. Will try again later.

One thing about that page.
If you want to receive SMS notification, better tick that during initial registration because the SMS option will not be available again .

Is this UNIFI lite at RM129 the cheapest offer? I got a call from TM to upgrade from Screamyx but I'm still doubtful as to whether to get it.

I'm on the cheapest Screamyx plan right now....

Success with the registration. It was failed before because the password that I choose is wrong. It require uppercase, lowercase and number. I put all that but I also include a symbol & during that process, the page didn't inform or prompt me of the error, it just proceed even after I key in the password the 2nd time. So I thought the password was accepted by the system.
