QUOTE(Keatsan @ Nov 1 2017, 02:20 PM) Looks like the 30mbps for RM139 will.....create a lot of complain again soon. 30Mbps users before 28/2/17 -> now 50Mbps at RM179-199For existing users 30 (free up to 50mbps) paying 179 is going to make lots of noise as well. So only a small portion of 30Mbps (after 1/3/17) will complain but they can +RM10 to get 50Mbps! This post has been edited by ClarenceT: Nov 1 2017, 02:24 PM |

QUOTE(uncle08 @ Nov 1 2017, 03:16 PM) Haha Time could be one of them. I believe there will be other local players.See how it progresses. TM and Time won't have exclusive right here, they will be the ISPs renting the fibre infra from another state-owned monopoly which will be given RM1.5 bil for expansion and improvement in the next 2 years. |

QUOTE(wkn @ Nov 1 2017, 03:16 PM) NO SUCH PACKAGE.... In the past, we always received calls from TM telemarketers. They offered +RM10 for upgrade to next level.TM really trollmaster. If any agent can upgrade my Lite to 30MB RM139, I will sure sign up for it but it looks like we cannot upgrade. It is a cost-effective way to improve the ARPU and retain existing customers. So I see the hope, it is just a matter of time. This post has been edited by ClarenceT: Nov 1 2017, 03:48 PM |

QUOTE(wkn @ Nov 1 2017, 04:32 PM) really?! now i lost interest in 30MB package because i don't feel like paying RM199 after 2 years when bonanza contract expires. Then re-sign a new contract with TM and get new equipment! But 30Mbps package will not cost RM199 in late-2019. This post has been edited by ClarenceT: Nov 1 2017, 04:40 PM |

QUOTE(LeonTan @ Nov 1 2017, 07:03 PM) IMO.A phase-by-phase path to double speed and price cut? Existing customers need to re-contract to get faster and cheaper package when contract ends. 10Mbps may become obsolete. Only 3 unifi packages for residential - low, medium & premium eg 20M, 100M, 500M/1Gbps. |

8mbps with HyppTV STB @ RM89 for first 24 months. So TM is forcing existing users to re-contract to get cheaper price.

QUOTE(LeonTan @ Nov 1 2017, 08:20 PM) I will share soon, because got some info is for internal use only, haha TM made the product pricing so complicated. Propose to their marketing managerIf after contract then maybe still ok but refer some info from TM I’ve fulfilled 2 years of unifi contract, and currently subscribing to i.e.: Advance 30 RM199, can I migrate to this package? Yes, you can only upgrade to a higher value package. Existing unifi customers would enjoy better offering when their contract is expired. 10Mbps: RM129 X 12 months or RM99 X 24 months 30Mbps: RM179 X 12 months or RM139 X 24 months 100Mbps: RM299 X 12 months or RM239 X 24 months Customer to choose 12-month or 24-month package. |

QUOTE(dashisiong @ Nov 2 2017, 12:49 AM) Frankly speaking, use back your old phone or buy a good one at your local electrical shop or Lazada. The cheap phone at TM Point is lousy. Go to www.unifi.com.my and use your reward points to offset your bill. 3700 points is equivalent to RM37 rebate (Redemption is in multiple of 500 points) |

QUOTE(MGM @ Nov 2 2017, 07:13 AM) Get a new streamyx line with new tel number. Pay deposit RM75 + stamp duty RM10. To check if the activation is free/waived.Installer will sambung another copper line to your house. Once connected, terminate your old streamyx service (14 days) and get back your deposit. Change your new tel number to old number. I think the number change cost you RM10 or RM25. |

QUOTE(Keatsan @ Nov 2 2017, 09:33 AM) Woah woahhhh that sounds like an awesome deal !! Not a distance future for existing customers. inb4, Lite reduce pricing to RM99. HAHAHAHA putarrrrrrrr But if you manage to up to 139 / 30mbps package, please report outcome !! If 10Mbps@RM99 and 30Mbps@RM138 are selling like hot cakes, - Most of TM customers are no longer interested to switch to Time or Maxis, until they launch something more attractive. - TM can tell Govt to hold "Double-speed and half-price" to a later date as people are now happy with 10Mbps@RM99 and 30Mbps@RM139 in the next 2 years. QUOTE(wilson1stop @ Nov 2 2017, 09:54 AM) Upgrade to higher packages SURELY can, BUT IS IT RM139 @ 30Mbps packages? (No problems for re-contract) 25Mbps is already very good for general use.Lfmao, TIME 100Mbps is just RM149 and Unifi 30Mbps is RM139 (but aft 2 yrs go back RM199 or higher maybe) so Apple and Orange, which better? (Too bad TIME is very LIMITED coverage) >30Mbps is meaningless to a lot of users. So most of Malaysians will go for 30Mbps@RM139 instead of 100Mbps@RM149, except those top 20% heavy users.
