It may look same on your side (last mile) but its totally different hardware at the exchange.

If u dont accept then basically u are out of option no?

No lah, there must be option otherwise he won't terminate. Try to pressure them for RM88 or lower, see how far they are willing to go. Otherwise just let go and terminate.

You may walk in to TM Point asking for Unifi Package for non Fiber.

30mbps + UnifiTV aneka = RM 119

or

This is for my case living in high rise with only vdsl available since i not able to choose 100mbps package.

I'm now subs to rm89 package.

VDSL means streamyx? I am using 4Mbps. Last time when I checked with TM point, they say this is the highest speed available. How can i get the 30mbps? Tell them i want to terminate streamyx? hmm.gif

nope. normal streamyx was ADSL.
the VDSL was SUBB coverage user will get, VDSL will get unifi lite 10mbps.
30M i think need fibre...not copper VDSL can handle.

I think no way to know unless you can upgrade unifi lite. Which itself was vdsl.

If Fibre will be much easier, as the pole got Fibre box.

I approached some TM sales person when they were doing some roadshow during their khabarbaik promotion. They told me, if we dare enough, do proceed to the TM point, not all outlet but specific to some mostly at their state HQ. Usually this points have officers that can give decision, must be their manager or any. Try to negotiate to any lower monthly fee, convince them that in result of the current charges, we are not afford and going to terminate the service with them. Under the new top management they have now, they have some kind of counter offer under some unknown scheme that is not open to customers. They told me getting hold the customers loyalty is the utmost priority.

How abt those still under contract? any tips for them to convert from rm79 30mbps 60G to Rm89 30mbps unlimited?

I tried but failed. Basically I complained via live agent until KL and JB agents called me, claimed no such plan etc. Go to TMpoint, only 139 plan available. I gave up and apply for new fiber 129 plan.

Nowadays with the govt off their back, they really getting aggressive for you to stick to your contract.

Can't say much for those under contract, I am no longer under their contract many years ago. The problem with mine was, I am upgraded from 8mbps RM160 to unifi lite without any price reduction, they only include ultimate package as a bundle at the same price as before.

On contract they won't care. basically they know you cannot run away. So just finish your contract first, then talk with TM.

on the same day but have to wait a little longer than usual as some further discussions to their immediate officer at the back, once everything fine they will get to you again with the new offer and read it to you again for understanding.The new price took effect on the next billing.
As for my case I am ready to return back their equipment, modem, phone, cordless phone and STB, all are ready packed in a bag.

For those who want counter offer from TM, do try using TM Live Chat, request for Termination...And they will explain 30 Days Notice balblablablbalblabla, then you confirm 30 days notice, wait few days, then they will call you for counter offer...
I terminate 2 TM Streamyx account recently, one for company and one for my own, both received counter offer, but the commercial line dint get much discount, while the other one get an offer of 4Mbps RM80......The 30 day notice seem like bullshyt by TM except as a grace period for them to call you back for counter offer, because if you dint go to TM Point after 30 days notice, they will just resume your subscription, nothing happend... but you also can go TM point regardless of 30 days notice and request for Immediate terminate.

Also noted that both of the Streamyx contract already finish, and counter offer renew for one year contract.
