How you managed to do that?
I even tried to watch hypptv everywhere from those so called original tm stb that has been 'hacked' last week at my cousin house, and the picture quality sucks!  rclxub.gif

Yes. He's using that kind of stb. Same like you. With HDMI output. Not AV connection.

If you look at the Hypp TV Everywhere channel list, some of the channels are hd while some are not. Check it out below.

Hi, do you guys think that tm will maybe introduce a data cap for unifi soon? As this unifi lite plan is kinda a no brainer upgrade from streamyx
*
Why bother when we can enjoy seemless, fast internet at a reasonable price.?

Just want to buy back my Astro equipment, keep some basic channels (free for life), and buy kids channels during holiday.
TV box is not really friendly and convenient.
Also Astro app doesn't work at MiBox3s at this moment.
Not planning to get full Astro channels (pirated).
*
Actually there are a lot of free Iptvs which you can watch for free. Just need to search for it online, download and install in your android box. But of course, you wont know how long it will last. Check out the iptv thread.

TM point staff told me that i cant downgrade to Unifi Lite from Unifi Advance. So the only way is just terminate and reapply?
*
Of course they will tell you that. But unless if you are under contract, there is no way they can stop you from terminating and applying the Lite.

QUOTE(Alex9182 @ Sep 22 2017, 10:08 PM)
Tm has put up fibre optic cable behind my house, soon Unifi Lite will be availabe, if i want to upgrade the wireless router to High Power models, please recommend which brand and models i should be looking at. thanks in advanced.
*
Yes, but you must check for available ports. Usually the earlier to go the better. Whats wrong with the supplied router?

i need better coverage, better signal strength  biggrin.gif

The original supplied TP Link wifi router is pretty good in terms of coverage. For dead spots, using a wifi extender would be more cost efficient and not to mention, easier.

I didnt have any xxx@iptv username , only have xxx@tvos.

I tried log in the happy everywhere with the one xxx@tvos but seem like failed.

I create a new account and log in, but only can watch normal tv.

My Unifi lite chosen Ruby package. But too bad i cannot log in using that account. May be i will call TM to check it out.

Thank you bro.
*
Its actually not happy tv but HYPP TV Everywhere. You have to wait for a while for TM to activate your subscription. Try calling 100.

QUOTE(pwf @ Sep 30 2017, 12:24 PM)
I am doing installation today. Morning appointment. Until now no sound, no call. Call the technician, no answer call. Sigh.... it is normal so slow?
*
You can call CS at 100. Those installers will answer their calls. laugh.gif

Thanks....

I reluctant to do rewiring as my streamyx wires are all concealed.
*
You cant as unifi uses fibre optic cables. Some newer house comes with fiber optocs concealed in their walls. So unless you want to conceal fibre optic cables in your house which will be very costly.

Want to ask if everyone would have a "white termination box for the black fibre optic cable?
*
I had one installed for my home line during Unifi Lite launch. But during the installation of Unifi Biz lite in my office 1 month ago, installer said they are not giving the termination box anymore.

No le. They called me back d. Btw do you know there isna fixed line rental waiver if u owned a TM fixed line in your name. Also like to check if any bros here know about this waiver for fixed line? If yes, does it limit to which fixed line you can waive? As CS told me only the main line can be waived (i have 2 fixed line)
*
You can only get one line waived per account. But now you can convert your existing line into a Unifi VOIP number.

So, waiver for fixed line is still available then?
Someone earlier posted that after July no more waiver for fixed line and to save rental charges on existing fixed line number is if you port over to voip service.
*
Im not sure but my existing business line was automatically ported over to VOIP when I applied for Unifi Biz Lite. Even better, can use back existing line and no need to pay even the RM1 rental fee.

huh?
No offense but kinda conflicting statement.
*
When I subscribed to Unifi Biz Lite package, I mentioned that I want to retain my existing number on the Unifi VOIP line as this is a business line. TM immediately ported over the existing no to the VOIP line once Unifi was installed at my office.

QUOTE(turion64 @ Oct 19 2017, 11:10 AM)
bro, the original fixed line rental fee only Rm1? i thought it was Rm25?
*
Yes, you can request for this to maintain your existing line if you subscribed to Unifi/ Unifi Lite.

Now I understand my confusion...
There is a different meaning when someone say "keeping the line" and "keeping the number"
First one means keeping the copper line service.
The second means porting number over to VOIP
*
Correct correct correct.

not going to terminate my current unifi and apply new one, since my home number given by TM is very easy to remember biggrin.gif
*
If you terminate now you have to pay a penalty as Unifi's contract is for two years. doh.gif
