Hello guys,

As per the title, how many digits are there in a UOB account number?

So this apparently happened on the 22nd June, which is one month + ago.
I had Giro from Ambank to UOB to a wrong account number. It has 11 numbers. And I have called UOB call centre and they have clarified to me that, UOB account only has 10 numbers and do not have any accounts with 11 numbers.

I also gave UOB the account which I wrongly keyed in to UOB, and they say the account number cannot be found, and this is also the time they mentioned to me that their account has 10 digits only.

Anyone here familiar with UOB accounts? Or anyone from UOB can help me clarify my doubts? I have called Ambank, and they keep on saying the money has went through

Thanks

Yup all the accounts at UOB has 10 digits only.

Better check with Ambank on where your funds went.

Hello, thanks.

I also checked with UOB the other day. They also said the same thing that the account numbering has changed from 11 to 10 for many years already.

Upon checking, it is found that the funds are transferred to one of my ex company's subsidiary accounts. So my money is not missing!!! lucky me rclxm9.gif
