today i received ninja gaiden (PAL) for the original xbox.
i had heard that ninja gaiden and halo 2 are region free and and playable on all xbox 360s, whatever the region.

but i cant play NG on my NTSC/J box.. it says the disc is from another region.

so i was wondering if PAL xbox games do not work at all on NTSC xbox 360 systems?

sum1 mentioned halo2 US version is playable on asian sets. i guess ninja gaiden PAL is region-locked. hmm, i wonder if buy shenmue II form ebay US can play here onot??

Halo 2 is region free though

are you absolutely sure? cause i read the same thing about ninja gaiden before i bought it. now it just makes me sad in its shiny cover and not playable.

anyways, a friend of mine has both ninja gaiden and halo 2 PAL with an asian xbox 360 and is not playable.

i assume, halo 2 ntsc UC will be playable on NTSC/J xbox 360? is that what you mean?

I have Ninja Gaiden, Halo 2 and Forza Motorsport (all of them are NTSC/UC). They all are playable on my X360 NTSC/J Asian region.

you have to buy NTSC version la..
not PAL...
