Koudo Ikusei Senior High School is a leading prestigious school with state-of-the-art facilities where nearly 100% of students go on to university or find employment. The students there have the freedom to wear any hairstyle and bring any personal effects they desire. Koudo Ikusei is a paradise-like school, but the truth is that only the most superior of students receive favorable treatment.

Ayanokouji Kiyotaka is a student of D-class, which is where the school dumps its "inferior" students in order to ridicule them. For a certain reason, Kiyotaka was careless on his entrance examination, and was put in D-class. After meeting Horikita Suzune and Kushida Kikyou, two other students in his class, Kiyotaka's situation begins to change.

This anime feels like bakatest x oregairu x danganronpa... i'm not sure how put this but so far i like this anime. MC is probably similar to Saki (mahjong).

i heard the MC was a tensai. Purposely fail himself so that he could join the worse class.

Just watched the latest episode. damn this anime is really underated. its quite good to find the twist at the end.

im glad i watch this anime.

ive somewhat read the LN, its quite ok but damn man, the anime for me looks darker than the LN itself. the story line also got change a lot, but i like the change.

especially on episode 3. its entertaining enough for me and i cant wait for the next episode.

yea i was disappointed too. After all that happen then they decide to make it a fanservice ep. I honestly can't wait to see the story to progress. Now have to wait another week. Is it a filler ep? i haven't read the LN.

Yeah, really cringeworthy. Thou somehow it ties the following episode somehow. I mean some scene u get to know the clans that are fighting for the school and such. So there’s the student council, the cane girl and the kindda yakuza guy. The 3 groups and the yakuza guy also knows who is the girl who spoiled his plan. Kindda neat but cringeworthy as well

Im not senpai, just a guy who when i like something i tend to search highs and lows for the source. Im sorry i dont remember the website but its easy to find it. As far as i know there are 5 volumes or more now and the one i read was on vol one and two (because its the only volume that are being translated lol)

I only can make conclusion on the vol one and two but i was kindda surprise when part of the anime arent on the LN on volone and two. And reading the forums about the story i concluded that the anime somehow mixed the volumes and make it more interesting. For example, the cheerful girl who in the anime turned 360 from her appearences are not in the vol one or two that i read the turn around was only revealed on volume 5 so i heard and the LN never told that the MC is also good at martial arts on vol one and vol two.

So personally i like the anime version better but thats just me and i only draw the conclusion based on 2 volumes i read. Sorry i cant help much thou.

After 6 episodes full of mystery, suspense and brilliance, suddenly we got #7 which shows the stupid antics of his friends + fanservice Even their method to peep is stupid. Shesh.

This kind of episode belongs as a BD extra or a #6.5

ok. its the the end of the season. and that is one bad mf. i get goosebump just thinking what the MC capable to do. at the end of the day i guess the best way is to read the LN thou the LN is not really properly translated.

anyways good anime. i enjoyed the show minus some of the episode but overall the storyline is freaking awesome. never thought it would go that way but it did.

here's hope for 2nd season.
