After all, coming to real life photographic situation, a kit lens will NEVER EVER be enough regardless you're using Canon or Nikon, so why worry about the sharpness alone? If you have stepped back from Canon, then go the Nikon way. And oh, you might wanna try out the kit lenses that belong to Sony, KM, Pentax and Olympus as well. I also 'hear' that their kit lens are shaper than Nikon AND Canon.

What is wrong with you ppl-lah! LCD too small also complain. I am 1.8" LCD and cannot zoom also belum complain.
