As promised, after my review of 360 J511C Dashcam. Here comes another value for money gadget from Xiaomi. Xiaomi is a well known brand for most Malaysian of it’s peripherals devices available in the market.
Introducing Mijia Dashcam which I bought it in one of the online store in Malaysia with the price of around Rm200. For the price of an mid-range dashcam, this is considered a good deal.

My humble and in depth review at : Xiaomi Mijia Dashcam

Contents: 1x Mijia dashcam, 1x 90° angled micro USB Cable, 1x USB Chargher, 1x Pry bar, 1x mount double side tape, 1x spare double sided tape(for mount), 2x Electrostatics films, 1x Manual in Chinese

The default language is all in Chinese and yes that's that's the only language! There aren’t firmware update for English version yet ( I assume there will be).
Well, worry less as I've translated for those who don’t read Chinese but wish to get this dashcam.

To my conclusion, the setting is pretty simple and straight forward. The price itself is affordable for a mid-range dashcam and as I did mention before in my post 360 J511C Dashcam, both can be rival but from the video footage it seems Mijia Dashcam did a better job than 360 J511C Dashcam. Well, I would say Pros & Cons in between both of them. I am not really sure till I write out an review for the battle of 360 J511C Dashcam vs. Mijia Dashcam and you judge it! Stay Tuned…..

I got mine for about RM200++ from a local seller. There is actually a few platform for you to choose, it was stated in my review Smartech101 - Mijia, by then only you determine which seller you should go for..Hope this helps!

I usually transfer out via card reader or you may get an OTG to transfer directly into your phone.

OTG = On The Go. You may google for OTG for Android/Iphone.

Thanks for the info. I am planning to mount this at the rear window. Now trying to figure how to mount it coz my customize Amerguard rear sunshade is blocking it.

Thanks for the recommendation and review. I think we are facing the same situation coz i am also driving a Honda city 2014 and installing the Amerguard rear sunshade.

The sunshade covers all the rear window. Where do u plan to install the camera? Do u plan to install the camera first on the window then overlap with the sunshade?

Mijia dashcam is too big for the rear with Groovy/Amerguard... You'll need something smaller or don't use the Groovy/Amerguard...

I'm also having a headache with this... laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

Yeah.. i was planning to replace the amerguard rear sunshade with this sunshade so I can mount the Xiaomi Mijia dashcam.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B008VM0TLO/r...=sun+shade+styx

But the sunshade price is quite expensive.

2 different things my friend. Mijia is a budget dashcam which you can get it around RM 160+ in market now.
Viofo shall consider higher range , and price is ranging around Rm350+-
