Thanks for the advice and suggestions.Acctually i met my physiotherapist and asked them about this and they advise me not to use heavy weights and my back should be lying or suppoerted by something when i'm perfoming training with my arms.
Bro egoeagle, You're absolutely true there.Simple weights won't harm, thanks for the support!logical thinking,my back must be supported so that it won't put much weight/pressure on my back so barbell won't hurt in anyway since i'll be doing it in lying position. I'm not very comfortable yet to go to the gym/fitness centre.I already have dumbells and adjustable bench but i'll like to get myself a exercise machine(not sure what they call this) which is something like this: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=383603&hl=gym What say you? I have some ideas to mod it to make full use of it. |

You got a big arm there darkie,i know you love to grow big lol... cut the crap, let's arm wrestling!
Want to ask you something. Some says that our body will look terible if we stop training/retire.Is that true?and also some says,if we grow with natural food and training, our body will still look quite nice eventhough we stop trainig.Anything you have to say?also, whey considered natural right? |

QUOTE(kingmaker_20 @ Apr 9 2007, 02:05 AM) You got a big arm there darkie,i know you love to grow big lol... cut the crap, let's arm wrestling! Thanks. Lol... actually it's not that i love to grow big, I have this psychiatric condition called bigorexia; constantly thinking I'm not big enough) Want to ask you something. Some says that our body will look terible if we stop training/retire.Is that true?and also some says,if we grow with natural food and training, our body will still look quite nice eventhough we stop trainig.Anything you have to say?also, whey considered natural right? As for your question, i'm not sure how to answer this. I know muscle atrophy occurs within 3 weeks. And i've known several bodybuilders who've taken a few months layoff but kept their diet in check and still look great. You'll definitely lose size if you don't train for months or years. The mistake a lot of people make is that they still consume the same amount of calories as if they're still regularly working out; pretty simple in this case, caloric expenditure < caloric intake. Anyone would grow fat. And yes, whey is considered natural. |

QUOTE(kingmaker_20 @ Apr 9 2007, 02:05 AM) You got a big arm there darkie,i know you love to grow big lol... cut the crap, let's arm wrestling! It depends. When you do not workout, your muscles shrink in size. And as all of us know, muscle itself burns calories. So the more you have, to more you burn and vice versa.Want to ask you something. Some says that our body will look terible if we stop training/retire.Is that true?and also some says,if we grow with natural food and training, our body will still look quite nice eventhough we stop trainig.Anything you have to say?also, whey considered natural right? Now let's concentrate on why bodybuilders look like crap when they stop. The very important thing here is the diet. As mentioned earlier, as we lose muscle, our metabolism will be generally lower than it used to be when we have more muscle. And most of the bodybuilders maintain the same diet even after they stop working out. So it boils down to this very simple equation Same amount of calories + slower metabolism = FAT FAT FAT That is one of the main reasons why people say that you will look like crap when you stop. However, if you were to realize that the culprit is diet, just go easy on the diet and you will be just fine. Worse case scenario will be you wouldn't looked as big... That's all.... Knowledge is a very powerful tool. Keep that in mind. |
