And yes, remind me to watch my dieting. No more coke, chocolate cakes, meggi gorengs, nasi lemak for supper and pre-bedtime meals

ok now i'm confused......anyyyyyway.....i've always deadlifted with my shins scraped like mad.....and it works fine with me.
anyway, i think there's a reason why these are sold http://www.flexcart.com/members/elitefts/d...id=205&pid=1822 and it's probably because of some deadlifters tat prefer to deadlift with the bar touching their shins. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TK4UIxKIxtc Konstantin deadlifts with shins touching too..... so my conclusion is, it's just preference? Some don't mind scratching their screaming shins, some want to preserve the beauty? I don't really care both ways.... |

QUOTE(bidfordun @ Sep 23 2007, 06:43 PM) aiks, try to jog again after a long long time and apparently my stamina sucks. i cant run continuously more than 3 minutes and even after combining the time i complete the whole session, it is just 11 minutes. must try to run more tomorrow. Don't worry, the heart's is a muscle. With gradual training, it'll come up again. It's not that difficult, just the beginning yes, quite tough. Later it's okay. |

This is about....7 weeks of not working out with horrid dieting...just got into the gym a few days back and hit the deadlifts and squats and benches and overhead presses. Along with a series of power cleans and CNJ's and power snatches with no dip.
Managed a 395LBS deadlift pull which is drop of 10LBS off my previous pull. Benches went up surprisingly, to 200LBS on an incline, up 15LBS...squats went down nearly 40LBS...but I foresee that goin up back once consistency comes back to training. Overhead presses went down to 130LBS...CNJ's still staying about 95KG'S so it's all good. I so gotta hit the gym consistent soon. Attached thumbnail(s) |

well since I hurt my back, i've not been able to pull from the floor. bending down hurts immensely. thus i've only been front squatting and benching and overhead pressing a bit. Not much back work, cept pull-ups with various variations. Those are the only pulls I've been doing, besides the hang cleans and power snatches.
I wonder if i look any different frm last week. Critic away guys. Btw, jones, yep I'm giving bodybuilding routines a try, with olympic lifting incorporated of course. Added on January 26, 2008, 1:17 pmYes i also notice I've the world's longest torso. This post has been edited by pizzaboy: Jan 26 2008, 01:17 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |

Off topic brag: Hmm, my back seems to have increased in thickness aye? heheheheehhe!!
I think ah....my arms size went up because of pull-ups. Hehhee, there was a period of insanity with pull-ups because old daddy kept saying "When i was your age, I did 50 and I've your uncles to prove it" And then he did 22. While I sangkut at 19 pull-ups. It was EMBARRASSING without words to describe. I went up to 25 pull-ups on a thick bar. 25 pull-ups to go. Fck... Anyway this was what I did for my pull-ups. At first I just kept doing more and more pull-ups but that kept me at a solid 20 reps. Then I did 5 normal pull -ups 3 pull-ups where you hold your position at the top 3 pull-ups when you hold your position at 90 degree 5 normal pull-ups Finish all, no rest. Do the above for 3 sets. At first, I could only complete 1 set. Next 2 weeks, managed 2 sets. Then 3 weeks later I did all 3 sets. Twice a week I do this. I've been doing more pull-ups recently after I hurt my back. I still hate them though. However, I do appreciate the strength it's passed to my arms. Stronger now. Yummy! |

QUOTE(Disciple @ Mar 10 2008, 05:09 PM) I know! Plate pinches Forearm curls Towel pull-ups Isometric pull-ups with thick bar Any thick bar work Rice digs (This more to grip only) Wrist rollers Actually those are more to grip exercises, but I seem to experience a little growth with these exercises. Added on March 10, 2008, 6:52 pmand erh, I don't think I have an adonis belt....if wat i think it is, is actually right. That curve on the lower abs rite..don't have that. But after muay thai or boxing, I guess the lines does come out. Don't really bother much about it. This post has been edited by pizzaboy: Mar 10 2008, 06:52 PM |

QUOTE(CandleJack @ Mar 11 2008, 09:57 AM) Most my arm size comes from triceps (duh).... Concentration curls? i mean.... my bicep is not peaking nice enough. If i can get it to peak better, i'll prolly hit that 16" mark. I see some boys in the gym, doing concentration curls like REALLY concentrated. They seem to have pretty okay bicep peaks to me. One guy looks like he only has biceps and no triceps. Guess all that concentration curls, concentrated all his muscles to his biceps. Oh well!! I like triceps, I push things more than I pull things. Even if I pull, I hardly use my arms to do the work, mostly comes from the hips and legs and lats anyway. Triceps FTW!! LOL |

I'm compelled to believe the metal bracelet adds 30LBS of mass to your physique. Good stuff.
