Roughly speaking cost of living is same in pounds as in RM lah. Plate of food is between 10-30, price of petrol is 1.85, modest house is 250k. Cars bit cheaper cos less tax. But income tax banyak unless you are non dom. For family consider that public schools and healthcare paid through income tax are mostly ok depending on where you live so you don't have to pay for private if you don't want to. But also no maid lah cos only Russians can afford.
