i'll just type it out here, truncated for the suspension parts only.

1. Stabilizer bush (1 set) - RM150
2. FRT Absorber (KSW, 1 set), RR Absorber (KSA, 1 set), Installation - RM890
3. Lower Arm (Recon, 2 pcs) - RM500
*
I also did the same things at same place few months back.
You just observe for few more days/weeks as last time the KSA absorber got sound after used, they changed it under warranty....(within 3 months if not mistaken)...

Dunno why they use KSA brand which is never heard before...Price not that cheap either...

Planing get a used kia forte 2.0 2012, any user here willing to share in term of
- driving performancr
- fuel charge
- maintenance cost and repair cost will very high?
- realibilyy?
*
Experience since 2012,
- driving performancr
Good handling and powerful and stable, just the 17" low profile tyre not so comfortable..
- fuel charge
9-11 liter / 100 km (as per meter) for mix city/highway, if full highway 6.5-8.5 liter / 100 km (as per meter), if full city 10-12 liter / 100 km (as per meter)
- maintenance cost and repair cost will very high?
comparable with Honda City I can say.... If you stay Klang valley area still manage to find many workshops and spare parts shop....
- realibilyy?
no major issue except wear and tear parts like suspension, stabilizer link, lower arms, etc.,
some common cases of gear level shift loose (change new RM 750 at SC, steering coupling replaced RM 380). Korean parts are quite reliable provided is Original parts. If use unknown brand got risk...

How much for the used card?

Mando should be the original ones.

I only agreed because autosavers was highly recommended. And according to the boss, there is a shortage of Mando absorbers.

Also, the KSA rear absorbers that I just changed to... today blew out one side. Went back to autosavers and got it replaced to KSW ones at no extra charge. So all my absorbers are purple now.

KSW although I don't know the history, the ride quality of the car now is very agreeable. Car feels new again. So, win some.. lose some.

Mando is the OEM brand, not really original...

Last time the boss also said shortage of Mando, that's y I changed to KSA...is it the PJ branch??
Actually outside still got many Mando stock...
I also replaced one side after few weeks under their warranty...
Nx time just don't use unknown brand again...my lesson learned...

PJ branch.

Just came back from a roadtrip to Endau Rompin, 4+ hours in mostly B roads through Negeri Sembilan. I'm pretty happy with the car now. Ride is hard (from the wheels) but supple. Fun to drive again, just like when it was new.
*
I also did it at PJ branch last time...

Good to hear that...some ppl spent more time but still can't figure out or fix the suspension prob...

This Merdeka promotion looks very attractive, especially for those Forte Suspension parts...anyone try this?
Pls call to request in advance, else the SC normally will say no stock la, not applicable la, dunno la...etc...

Halo all sifus, just got myself a secondhand forte 2.0 sx 2013. Got some issues need advice on how to fix:
1) when driving got buzzing sounds from right side middle column (seat belt + airbag pillar)
2) when driving slowly or going thru bump, got krk krk sound from engine area,
3) right front fog light+DRL bracket tercabut ( can diy fix ah?)

Any ideas on the cost as well.
Thanks in advance.

Welcome on board.

Would suggest you to join the Forte Owner FB group and repost the problems with photo/video. A lot of sifus there can response promptly with experience.

1) Can't imagine the sounds. Or no sounds for my car.

2) Is it engine area or the undercarriage or suspension part?
Normally is due to one OR combinations of the below
- stabilizer link
- stabilizer bar bush
- lower arm bush
- Absorber or bush or mounting
The workshop can check and know how to fix this.

3) Not sure.

Since your car is 2013, still within 5 years warranty period, u might check whether is the warranty still valid for your 2nd hand car?

I'm kind if happy to report the purple absorbers from KSW are pretty good. So, if you ever get a good deal on them, it's worth considering.

Like this? I was using KSA for less than a week before it blew out the oil. Then only changed to the purple one.

Ya, saw KSA brand on it...but my one is got sound after few weeks of replacement there...I didn't go to see got oil leakage or not....free replace one pc after complain...but still KSA...until now not so good feeling in front...

I think they know it as so many replacements done...

You just try the purple one for few more months and see...hope can tahan.

PS: To other members, please beware of this KSA brand since Angel of Death and me got problem of it.

Thank you for your advise, I never service my air con since day 1 till now, already 4.5 years car and service centre never request me to service the air con, wondering whether they know how to service the air con or not....
*
Ya, I also never service the AC, worry the SC spoil it. Also they never ask.
But actually if u check, they actually receive memo from HQ have to advise us at least to replace the AC Condenser Receiver Drier for xxkm mileage.
This Drier if u open, very dirty and could stuck the AC condenser. Google Condenser Receiver Drier for more details.

Kia SC at Puchong never advise me for 4 years service there, I just saw that memo in another branch.
May be too much work for them and scare spoil our AC. As it may need to flush the whole AC system.
