I encountered the same problem before, the SC also do some cleaning on the throttle body, its just reduce the rattling (charged me ard RM35), that was 2 years ago.

Just share with you, last 2 months my car jerking when moderate accelerating, when i saying jialat in my heart (coz i think it might be the gear box issue), until the engine light turn on, i called to the SC and they said its the ignition coil problem.

Went to SC next day, diagnosed the system shows that the first ignition coil spoilt, changed and everything go back to normal, even the rattle while idling much improved.

So it could be the ignition coil issue for your case.

ard RM250 per ignition coil, diagnose charged RM60... planning to buy OBD II for my own checking.

found the root cause, it's the stabilizer bush .... spent whole day again at korean car mate, changed 4 absorber, lower arm busher, link stablilizer and brake pad, and then abs sensor light up ..... RIP my wallet.

the busher cost me rm25 each, they charge me the labour cheap a bit because i change lot of thing. The guy say normally labour will be 70 per side, and the busher price went up on new stock around rm110 each.

for the bill, total cost me around RM2.5k for all the things i have changed, not included the sensor.

If you're keen to troubleshoot, the Front Stabilizer Bushes (left & right) and Front Stabilizer Link Rods (left & right) would be the first items up for replacement, with cost being the primary consideration.

Stabilizer bar bushes are about RM 60~70/pair whilst the Link Rods would set you back about RM 80~100/piece (prices may vary by +-10%).

The labour cost for the installation of the Bushes + Link Rods would probably set you back about RM 80~100 (the bushes are a little hard to get to for the Forte).
