Hi, good afternoon everyone. Am wondering if this forum still active? LOL

I am newbie here and planning to buy a car for myself after cny.

I did some research before and still don't know should i buy a new bezza or a used 2013 forte?

Any expert here can give me some feedback? BTW I'll drive the car to genting every weekend and will fetch 4 ppl together with me too.

Thanks a lot.

Hmm...since you've not specified which Bezza model/trim which you're comparing against the 2013 Forte, let's take the premium range which is the BEZZA 1.3 Premium X - Auto.

On the spec sheet, it appears that both vehicles are quite comparable. Bezza with a lighter kerb weight vs Forte which is heavier but with a higher capacity engine. Nonetheless, perhaps we can all say that the Bezza edges the Forte just a notch in terms of Power to Weight ratio (although the Forte could very well manage the Genting hill climb if the Driver knows how to manage the manual shiftronic mode).

Safety wise, I'll have to say that the Forte comes out on top with ABS + VSC equipped whereas the Bezza only has ABS + EBD.

I have not driven a Bezza up Genting, so I wouldn't know for sure which vehicle would be best suited for such purpose.
Nonetheless, my vote might probably go to the Forte for a roomier interior + slight edge on the safety feature (especially useful on winding roads.

Only thing with the Forte (or for any other vehicles for that matter) is that one should always be mindful of the braking system, especially going downhill from Genting.

Hope this helps and good luck!

Did Forte have any major issues that will cost a lot? Cause six years car already, quite worry lol.
I saw a lot of used Forte with 50-70k mileage and the price are around RM33-40k.

If the Forte don't have any major issue then i'll go for it, i guess.
Cause the first time i saw forte i already fall in love with it hahah!

Then how about Saga 1.3 executive cvt if compared to forte? I know the safety features of forte is better than saga, just wanted to know which one is worthy cause RM40k can buy the new saga already ohmy.gif (but i still preferred forte lol, just wanted to know you guys opinion =D)

p/s: sorry for my bad english doh.gif
