Was just stumble with UTP website and it state that studying PhD here is rm1200 per year. Is this true? So cheap 😅 The price is to good to be true 😅 Surely it is recognised by all since it is UTP right? 😬 I wanted to study here if it's this cheap. Can used my epf to fund for this once I've finish master next month. Interested in management 😊 Anybody here from there can share some insight?

If you can find a good supervisor there together with good facilities (especially the online library database), then you are good to go.

wow.. it sounds too good to be true! I have checked and the cheapest rate I've seen is around 45k for 4 years.

Yea, its quite cheap indeed but only limited to part time studies, better ask if there is any hidden fees along the way. Full time fees however cost a bomb tho.

That's true for part time study. But the cost isn't include for registration, Research & Methodology course (compulsory) and viva.

But if you want to do full time, you can apply for Graduate Assistant scheme where UTP will cover all fees and you can get monthly allowance of RM 1650. But you need to do some works for 22 hours/month. And you can try to apply for Yayasan UTP scholarship where the allowance is RM 5k/month and all fees are covered. But you will bond to UTP.

After taking other places for consideration, I've opted for ukm where I did my mba..not because that utp price is not tempting but mybrain have been announced and I really need the relationship that I've made with my lecturer in ukm. Now hoping that mybrain cater to my field of studies.

Why so cheap.. I think it is a research assistant base job

Guys..I in the end opted with ukm gsb and will start class this march with my preferred lecturer. Will leave this thread open for your info if someone wanted a cheaper option. Good luck! ☺️
