America style/made e-bikes are filthy expensive. The china made one mostly not so good. So, the e-scooter is the best. Xiaomi Mijia 365 id the best scooter and value to money

QUOTE(lim47 @ Jul 2 2019, 03:08 PM) I use on lrt once or twice a week. I don't fold it unless put inside car, folding is not so convenient. Pushing it like a bike is more convenient..Range ok je for the price, can go and come back to work 1 trip still have 2 bar Batt left. If got 8" at the price would be nice. I have e bike converted, so I don't have a need for a serious scooter, more like my son's toy, but I use to work and to shops behind my house. Same attention as like driving ferrari This post has been edited by Saltiez: Jul 2 2019, 03:31 PM |

Found thread, looking for one myself. Not sure if I should buy as the recommendations on this list seem enticing. But making my own also seems doable as I like tinkering with stuff. Would feel satisfying as well. Found somewhere anyway that said it isn't the bike components that make the ebike expensive anyway but the motor, so maybe upgrade is possible in the future if I want to.

Check out this site, there are tons of electric bike reviews! I've used it by myself when I was buying an ebike for myself. |

Those bicycle with motor and battery is too heavy to be of practical use, rather have a full manual bicycle; it is also expensive, only slightly cheaper than a used motorcycle.
The electric scooter type is practical, but not durable enough for serious use, probably good for 3-5km average; if your distance needed to be 6 minutes by car it will not do it. |
