As the title goes, how do you guys cook your gaming laptop?
I planned on buying a cooling pad, is there anything that I should look out for? Like the position of fan, elevation etc?
And is there specific type of cooling pad for a specific type of laptop? 😂

i got a good recommendation. Yuesong V5. works like charm. it kept my Core i5 from throttling when i am playing Paladins. when my coolermaster cooling pad fails to do the job right.

Use a book, and place it at the bottom back of the laptop. A good airflow is the best cooling solution.

actually a cooling pad or whatever will cause heat to built up
best is to raise the bottom of the laptop off the table so that there is enough space between bottom of laptop with table surface around 3 or more inches this is to ensure air that is being sucked into the laptop from the intake is cool
i personally used pvc pipes and made it into a frame and then rest my MSI onto it also please check that the pipes do not obstruct any intake fans, mod as required
other then that for when i download i made a frame where i place a table fan under to blow direct into my old laptop

i think best way is to get a table stand fan and blow onto the laptop directly, the laptop should be elevated from the surface like 5cm or more.

I'm thinking, shouldn't the gaming laptop do have sufficient cooling system internally? Gamer play long hours, the designer should have aware of that.
I kind of can't accept the internal cooling are not meant for long hours usage for game. If a gaming laptop overheated during game, then I'll assume that the laptop are not properly design.
*Unless overclocked, that's different story
