i have apple tv. And i subscribed to HULU.

Mahal. Then i stumbled upon this android TV.

Can android TV provide me the latest american TV series for free? and up to date as HULU? ie. happy endings, pretty little liars, flash, supergirl, arrow, AGT, 9-9 police something2, etc

If yes, i just buy android TV then all the aps require to perform the above function are pre-installed?

I know some like kodi can provide the function. but hassle a bit right?

try install cloudtv app to yo android pong n check the channel.if ok then transfer the apk to usb plug into Android tv n install.

HULU on appletv is free?

was a HULU user myself.. but too expensive to maintain. Now using Netflix on my Android TV.. Malaysian Netflix (RM42 per month) US TV series selections are very up to date nowadays.. as far as i remember they have PLL, supergirl, arrow..

not free. Thats why wanna op for cheaper option. if android can provide free why not. Netflix macam lambat sikit right. Must wait until season completed then they will show at netflix.

Based on my knowledge, since I also newbie

There are 3 ways to view TV series / Movies on Android

1. KODI...Free...everything except IPTV contents, maybe there is a plugin, but I dunno.
2. IPTV (need to pay to subscribe) Basically its TV channels and VOD movies...not really latest
3. Apps...Free...mostly latest movies

Seriously, all the stuff i watch are latest, so i dun need a huge library list.
For me. Apps in enough LOL
Usually, when you buy the Android box, just tell him to install everything.

Most of the "free" streaming on Android TV are from pirate servers. So expect low quality & broken streaming channel. Some may offer you better quality but you eventually have to pay for the service (FilmON TV).

I've been using Android box for more than 2 yrs and extremely happy with it

I don't even pay for any subscription yet enjoy 1080p movies n dramas, live sports in 720p also

Frankly FilmON TV quality is not that great. It only has SD/HQ option. even set at HQ. Is not even close up Astro 720p. I know because I can watched the paid channels.

Dude, I been using Android TV box since 2013. I know what I'm talking about. I am well aware of the high quality stream, but I also know there are bad ones.

Now you are conflicting yourself as earlier you seemed to have mislead him into thinking the only way to enjoy HD for American series is thru paid subscription.

If American series is what he's looking for there's few alternative eg Terrarium or thru Kodi for good HD stream

Nevertheless .... I rest my case

Get android box. Install Kodi. Get addons based on your need. Enjoy. Or else subscribe to Netflix and enjoy.

Use vpn and subscribe netflix from the latin america country. Last time can get below rm30

I can tell you that some of the ahem channels of astro HD , quality is not so good as they take the original 1080/720 stream which is already encoded and re-encode again, resulting in lower quality.

android box + kodi and you are good to go
