But the decoder doesn't support 7.1 decoding, so might as well just get the decoder along with a 5.1 speaker such as the Gigaworks ProGamer G500 which retails for RM988. tongue.gif

^ I was just wondering.. will there be an upgrade to this DDTS-100 to support the next gen formats. e.g Dolby TrueHD. Has anybody heard anything/rumours?
*
They might be, coz i heard Creative has already stop the production of the DDTS-100. nod.gif

Problem is, I thought all the next gen audio signals only travels via HDMI only right? So how's that's gonna work?

HDMI(PS3) -> HDMI( future DDTS) -> HDMI(LCD TV)?  tongue.gif

i wanna hook up my ps3 to a 5.1.. wat options do i hv below 1k.. AFAIK.

the DTS creative retails about rm800 i think with a 5.1 speakers. but tat system is not so good.total RMS freaking low.

Get the Sony HT-DDW685 5.2 speaker then. Retails for RM999, comes with a receiver, 5 speakers and 2 subwoofers. tongue.gif

i still dun understand why this system got 2 sub
ayusmi using one IIRC

There's alot of home theater speakers with multiple subwoofers, some up to 4. Subs are non-directional, and its placement in the room are quite important to achieve the best bass troughout the whole room. Having two subwoofers would achieve a better chance of getting the best bass by placing the subs diagonally opposite of each other at the corner edge of the room. nod.gif
