Nothing is best, it all depends on your budget and satisfaction requirement. I myself using Logitech Z5500, not perfect but good enough for my needs now.

QUOTE(esca_flo @ Jan 11 2010, 10:26 AM) hey , i was thinking the same thing since yesterday , i did my research and found out the best bang for buck is logitech x-540. its out of the box compatible with ps3 , no need to buy extra adapter or whatnot ( i hope ) cause it includes the y cable u need to connect ur ps3 to the speaker system, its 5.1 surround btw. look it up at logitech website , and also some forumer is selling it brand new in the garage sale. . price is 340-360 brand new. got thread already rupanya, bergabung!!!!! You are just getting stereo from that even though it's a 5.1 speaker set..

QUOTE(esca_flo @ Jan 11 2010, 10:39 AM) yeah, i know, but it has the matrix mode. turn any stereo sound to 5.1. better then my setup now plus its cheap. u dont want to know whats my setup now. but the thing is , im afraid about the connectivity , just want to confirm. we just use y cable and then can connect both device ? anything else needed in between ? any x540 user with ps3 here? I would recommend you a HTiB that accept optical input seriously since they are cheap these days. Matrix is just double stereo after all, not really an upgrade.

QUOTE(esca_flo @ Jan 11 2010, 10:42 AM) pls do . i wouldnt mind looking around somemore for a better solution. which HTiB is good with optical and not expensive. You can try Samsung HT-Z310T.. honestly the HTiB models made me You can just go to any AV stores and look for one, HTiB with optical input is quite common these days, at least those made from Samsung and LG

Jazz and movies are 2 completely different things, you should get a multipurpose HT in that case.
