Those on a budget of less than 1k.. I would recommend the Sony 5.2
The sound reproduction is good imho. Beggers cant be choosers.
For RM969, its a bargain with DD n DTS, coax n optical in.

Aku punya Sony HTiB tahun 2000 masa beli PS2 , tu yang aku bukak thread nih utk search HT system baru tapi masih belum kesampaian, yang berkenan tapi mahal, yang murah tapi kureng berkenan. Aku dah tanya dah Onkyo SR605 (yg ada Dolby TrueHD dan DTS HD), harga dia RM3299 TAK termasuk speaker 

apa "org macam aku" plak nih?
Aku punya model lebih kurang cam ni, tapi 5.1 bukan 6.1

Gila ko 52", aku nye 46" aje la

You pun apa kurang meh, 42" Plasma
ADA-ADA plak

Sakit aku kalau angkat Onkyo tu:

Speaker lagi : RM4XXX
Center (sebijik)
Front (2 bijik)
Surround (4 bijik)
Subwoofer (Sebijik)
Total:            RM7-8k
   
Nampaknya terpaksalah guna yang buruk punya HT......   (saham jatuh pula tu )
