Small Basic comes with compiler to create native EXE.



1.exe is generated from source code:


Amazing, it is only 2048 bytes!

The executable file is small because it has dependency on SmallBasicLibrary.dll 1.2 (259KB). Without this DLL, the generated EXE won't run.

It is been two years. Do your kids like Small Basic?

Smh... they dont enjoy it. Stuck around sound, shapes n mouse.

They enjoy Scratch more. I took some of the teaching ideas from CS50.

I got a fren running robotics programming school nearby. Plan to enrol them to that course. Maybe I'm not a good teacher, they will pay more attention w other ppl

A lot of school change from vb to teach python...

pyhon was just popular recently even though started since long ago. If the teaching too focus on language preference but not the method of debugging. Eventually, it didnt this the moat basic of coding.
