New toyota vios already release in Thailand, and Singapore also! hvn't really go through Spore toyota website to read the spec, it is still a conventional 4 gears auto tramission, as i though it will introduce CVT but not.
is vios 07 using the same gear box, engine and chasis with old vios?
do u guys hv any comparison for the gear ratio for city and new vios or old vios. lke crusing at 100KM wht is the RPM for both car?

for vios, at 100km is around 2.7-3k RPM..
(edited) sorry, at 100km im not sure. 2.7-3k RPM is when speeding around 110-120km. remember that because during balik kampung want to keep RPM below 3k when speeding on highways..

The 2007 new vios is based heavily from toyota belta from japan, and shares the same platfrom and engine with the current yaris. It will be released in mysia by end of 2007.

QUOTE(jeff_sin @ Apr 3 2007, 09:41 AM) how about for city 7 speed? City i-DSI 100km/h is 2.5k RPM. 110km/h is 2.7k-2.9k RPM. Can't be sure, I don't have a digital meter. Level road. VTEC should be better.
