Blissey 3000+, 2900+, 2600+, 2400+ and 2200+.
I usually go for 5 gyms only to get a gold badge. |

I can't say for the whole taiwan but at least in my area... its expected for the first entry to be Blissey or Snorlax. I've spoken with some of the usual trainers in my area. They will even use alt account to shave it off.... say waste space wor. In a way its true also, Blissey, Snorlax and in a way Rhydon is like the gym's anchor. |

Some area where it is team dominant, will stay much longer from few hours to days, it will be short life for any other team to put there. High traffic area will turn around very fast. The most intense gym battle is the moment a lev 4 raid boss egg landed. It will under attack and unconditional denfend for that hour plus. depends if i'm the 1st, i'd put blissey just to make other ppl malas to fight so that other teammates can slot in
if not, i'd put random high-ish CP mons that i have such as muk, snorlax, alakazam, espeon, golem etc |

Sometimes I'll add some other pokemon to spice things up ..... but only for gyms (a) closer to me where I can have constant access or (2) gyms that I don't care for a gold badge.
(a) for gyms closer to you where you have access, you can put anything because you can come back and take over, gain +100. For example, this gym got Blissey, Snorlax, Chansey, Ursaring. All weak against Fighting. The next pokemon should be added should be psychics. Sometimes I also like to put Lapras with mixed movesets like Water gun/Blizzard, Ice beam.... I'm considering to change one of mine to Ice Shard / Hydro Pump. |

But whos gonna take down gyms with fighting type? a strong machamps not gonna have much left even if it made it through blissey and snorlax. The most annoying oddball defenders for me would be pinsir and ursuring as i normally just plough through with ttar. That 2 is annoying cos they create disproportionate amount of damage forcing me to waste potions by switching atrackers.(a) for gyms closer to you where you have access, you can put anything because you can come back and take over, gain +100. After the first round, then I go for Dragonite to clear everything at one go. and nowadays, I tend to kick out Blissey first. Many times someone around to feed it berries if you fight all 6 pokemons at once. |

Yup, don't kick out the first small blissey and give chance for someone to slot a strong blissey at the last slot.Idea case will be, beat all 6 mon in 1 round. You must not experience this: left one standing, almost can kill it, someone come feed golden berry, and the next moment 5 reinforcements added in. |

QUOTE(kww @ Jul 20 2017, 10:59 AM) Yup, don't kick out the first small blissey and give chance for someone to slot a strong blissey at the last slot. Yes. Thats is very important.Idea case will be, beat all 6 mon in 1 round. You must not experience this: left one standing, almost can kill it, someone come feed golden berry, and the next moment 5 reinforcements added in. In hotly contested areas, once there's motivation level is unequal means not just what you mentioned but also could means that you might error out and kena snipe. So yeah... best to plow through everything as quickly as possible hence no switching attackers, press the next battle button as soon as possible, click empty gym as soon as possible and put in Blissey. Heck.. for this particularly contested gym (I've attacked with 3 other players for over an hour and it held) ... I even re-favorite my pokemons so Blissey is on top to reduce time to put in. |
