Can change the battery no problem. If scared to change the battery by yourself can call bateriku. They come to your house and change the battery summore the technician will diagnose your car if have further issue. The pricing of their battery is also reasonable.

No.
Yes.
My advice, jumpstart first. If hidup, then go buy the battery. Seems reasonable for battery faulty considering the age of the current battery.
Then fix the new one by self. Not really complicated.

Dont shoot me, but if im not mistaken the ecu setting wont dissapear but will reset to factory settings right? For some cars the ecu can learn the driving style so it can set how the engine works to suit that style.

Changing the battery will reset back to factory settings n the ecu will need some time to learn back. During this time fuel consumption will be a bit high.

But im not sure if saga flx ecu have this function.

Correct me if im wrong

Yeah, ECU will reset to factory setting, but in real life application, the differences in these settings are negligible.

Logic dictates that if the car had no issue from day 1 that you got it, taking off the battery and letting the ecu reset to factory settings won't screw the car up as it will just be like the first day you drive it.

But some proton cars like preve n persona (previous gen ) i remember reading after few month of using got engine check light come out. They send back to sc they just reset the ecu. Some cases settle some cases had to reset few times.

So logically resetting the ecu have the possibility of having such issue come up later on. But im not sure if they ractified this issue by upgrading or reflash the ecu to new version coz i no longer hear such cases happening again hmm.gif

Old car when reset ecu when start engine sometime the engine will shut down. If not mistaken it's due to the carbon build up at throttle body, where edu already learn to compensate with idling control. So when ecu is reset on old car, starting time when driving duriing corner the engine shut down. I Kena before.
For u to say other ppl bodoh piang etc, I don't think you're better than others.
