Owh that's a shame sad.gif . It's a 2011 self-publish artbook by BL artist Kinokotei, it was released on their old blog. The number is very limited I'm guessing may be even less than 100 copies. I doubt it's available anywhere by now. But if it helps here's the detail (NSFW );
Title: Simple Best
Author: Nekozuki Izumi
Circle: Kinokotei

Thank you very much!

Hi.

Can you quote me the total cost for this item to deliver to Malaysia?

http://www.cuoca.com/products/detail.php?product_id=2868

Thanks
*
Item is 1.4kg
But I think it will be pack with box suitable for local shipment in Japan.
Will need to add some cushion.
Estimated with 2.5kg EMS

Domestic shipment 490yen

(4423 + 490 + 3800) × 1.1 × 0.04 = 383.372

EMS limitation.
Please note that the longest item I can send is 1.5m. Which means, (a) in the picture should be smaller than 150cm
The maximum value for (a) + (b) + ( c ) + (d) + (e) is 300cm
The maximum parcel weight is 30kg.
Please check this website for more details.

Electrical products from Japan.

Please note that the shape of the plug is different from what you use in Malaysia.
Japan uses type A plug. You need an adapter to use this plug

Please note that Japan uses 100AC power suply.
So some the products might need "transformer" if you wish to use that in Malaysia.
(Some products are OK, some NOT)

Domestic shipment is 1080yen
Assume that it is 5kg
Assume that the item can fit into a box within the size limited by the EMS. 1.5m the longest

(25704 + 1080 + 6300) × 1.1 × 0.04 = 1,455.696

I know nothing about this item. If you know the reason later, please tell me.

Usually it will be more expensive to buy it in Japan,
If
(1) it is not that popular in Japan, or too popular in Japan.
(2) the item price is cheap, so the shipping will be relatively expensive
(3) the item is heavy, then the shipping is relatively expensive
(4) the spec of the product is different, so the price is different
(5) other reasons

please select the most suitable place to buy your item.

Cheaper to get it from Japan but shipping and tax much higher... People who sell stuff like that locally normally ship it in bulk using a freight container via sea cargo which has advantages and disadvantages

Pros:

1. Cheaper shipping
2. Cheaper tax

Hence cheaper the price

Cons:

1. Long transit/shipping time

More often than not people who check prices for aftermarket parts sold by stores locally think about the local price of the item in Japan only.. They do not think about the other costs involved bringing in the item to Malaysia

@jajapan is right.. buy the item where it is much suitable/cheaper

You can still choose where you want to buy, if you really want the item and have money to buy it then do so and buy directly but if you really want to save money then better buy locally.

I only buy car parts directly from Japan if I know I can't buy them locally
