hiiiii, congrats on the new tered rclxm9.gif

just wanna ask,

user posted image

1) where to get goggles like this with prescription lenses (mine's 500)

2) is it stupid to wear this and swim instead of dive (or should i just use googles?)

3) or should i just get the goggles and use contact lens?

many thankssss

1) scuba symphony in bandar utama has precription lenses also
2) as above stated, not comfy as u can't breathe through nose while swimming, and u'll look like an alien wearing this in swimming pool biggrin.gif
3) we had the same concern too, but after just recently dived last month, my wife and her sister just got their OW license and have no issue wearing contact lense + google. they had to do the clear mask multiple times, and the evil instructor insisted they fully remove their google under water. i'd say he is actually very good instructor, as he teaches his students to prepare for the worse case, and not to panic. bravo to him notworthy.gif

use daily disposables..... chances of the lens dropping off is very very slim... happened to me once during a night dive.... I din even notice it was missing till I was back on the boat....!

lol.. because night dive we could hardly see anyway? biggrin.gif or maybe your power is not that high so didn't even notice?

darn, looks painful.
i was ascending and moving away from the nest.
dont have wet suit, was wearing my sharkskin top and beach shorts as usual. -.-'
it stills playing in my mind tho.
was looking for macros.
suddenly they appear.
it was huge as well. hahaha

experience for sure.

best thing was, right after the attack, i went back to the group.
and saw my first Sea Horse.

kena at Paya Island, Coral dive site.

i kena once in sipadan. scary feeling the moment kena chase. luckily was not hurt, my heart was pumping damn fast...

after consult with DM, the best way is to swim away from the territory (its like a cone shape territory). swiming up doesn't take you away from their territory, like divers mention above.
hope that helps smile.gif

ok thanks for the recommendation.
no doubt the gopro quality is top notch, i feel it is over priced (like the iPhone.. been using apple for several years, until this generation which is highest price of all)

im looking for alternatives.. probably will give AKASO V50 Pro a try (~RM400)
those after higher standard no doubt still prefer gopro Hero 7 (~RM1500)
